I know I'm confused if your going to plant it in soil in a pot then about 1/4 in deep...you know one of those small seed holders you get with a order? Take one poke it in the soil take out place seed in correct and cover? If outdoor I'd say till till you drop. About at least a foot..lol don't plant the seed that deep.... hope this helps..

Can't really tell how green it was but we got lucky two systems had tornadoes touchdown and one mostly went north of me and one mostly south, n now its beautiful outside

You can generally figure autos will take a 2'x2' area. So plant 2' apart. And a hole that will fit a 5 gallon bucket should be plenty. Just starting plants outdoors now? You're in a warm climate?
