We were buying our guitars with paper route money, used instruments, no one could dreamed of affording a keyboard. First gatherin we had the bass and bth guitars and a mic all in one amp, LOL.

What a topic coincidence, I just got my Martin out of the closet today after a 10 year hiatus.

Definitely in Martin country around here. I don't play guitar but there's a lot of people around here that love them and a few that fix them up. I'd bet @Cerebral Goo has 1 laying around

I played a Yamaha acoustic for most of my life, I only got my Martin back in '98, when I finally broke and let the wife talk me into spending 2k on a guitar.
