I gathered enough motivation to pile the branches on the trimbin and then stick it to the side!

Need to knock out a 9 hole golf tourney so prob crash after that! Then again if my 3 hole test match proves i am too stoned to play tonight i may be back!

Well it was a good plan but the 60 year old buried pipe had other ideas. Don was able to get the cold water back on but the hot water pipe was just too deteriorated. We made the decision to replace all three pipes hot, cold and gas to where the service comes out of the house. Don Jack hammered the cement and I will dig it all out and he will come back Monday or Tuesday to install the new lines.

This was the failed hot water Pipe.



The plan was 3/4 done.



But the last nipple refused to break free and the pipe broke instead. It probably is a good thing it failed now instead of a few months after poring new concrete over it! The plumbing was not up to code for even 60 years ago as there was not 6inches of space between the lines and it was 8 inches shallower than it should have been. The gas line is probably ok but we will have it open for a clean run so kind of a no brainer.



I get to dig this out and open the trench. Oh the joy!


This is where we need to go.



It is not helping. Boy am I glad I did not rent a concrete saw to do this myself
