Well on a positive note, with all the winter snows, the subsequent thaw and the current tropical storm infusion of massive amounts of rain, this might be a pretty good year to be a small gold prospector!
I would be rolling boulders and prying rocks for the gold settled underneath them

So many reasons why I'm glad that I'm not in SoCal!
