Yeah @Drownomatic .....?.........our little Luxury when we had the UK house/bathroom extended.

It Cost £650 for all the Kit....and £350 to get the Dome for the shower unit made........then we Won £998 on the lottery.....so it Just cost us £2...

You need huge units for high end installs, not just because of the CFM, there are crazy heat loss factors for using slab stone vs tile over cementboard.

Not uncommon to be $5-10k USD

This sort of job.

Always custom stuff to be made, and logistical problems nobody had before.

Someone messed up and I had to make a custom offset.

You can see the steam room, heated towel bars, etc.

That tub is 1 piece and was flown in from Italy. It had to be craned to the 3rd floor, and structural steel added to support it.

It has a boatload of radiant subfloor under it to preheat because of the extreme thermal mass.

I was Thinking...WHEN I Win the lottery........I want a bath tub like this.........a proper crystal bath tub..

Then I Thought......something simpler...that I've never had the Luxury of........?

A bath that I can lie in without either me knees or me shoulders sticking out.............I'd settle for that.......
