Honestly never even hooked into a smallie before. Its all pike, walleye, largies, and perch for me. Proud of the pb pike though 42"

Every summer I went to Michigan for summer vacation my uncle would take my down to the river to go pike fishing and I don’t ever remember even getting a single bite all the times we went!

Me and a buddy managed to tag team reel in a 95lb catfish when I was like 15! Prob saved its life tho cuz we were fishing in an area we weren’t supposed to fish beside the marina store and hooked this up by the reeds and it had a huge stringer already in its mouth! Not sure if it was tangled in the weeds and we pulled it out or what but was a surprise! It’s a spot where u normally only catch carp cuz they have feeders on the dock and the restaurant patrons would feed em while waiting for a seat!
