Woke up at 5 am, thought to myself, fvck it, I'ma try some more sleep....and actually got a hour or 2....now sitting here with my coffee thinking I got too much sleep...kinda lazy listless feeling.....unmotivated.....things to do, gotta rev the motor abit and get on it......no rain yet, but still cloudy so I figure it probably will sooner or later...

This is a pretty damn rough 9/11 for me. Rough as hell week and now today. That little demon depression keeps popping up!

I gotta put my nose to the grindstone today to keep my sanity........hopefully! Not like I don't have a ton of crap to do.
The Vet Hotline will probally have a waiting time today anyway!

My eldest son worked at ground zero for 2 months after 9/11, for a private environmental contractor. He was so moved by working elbow to elbow with the NYFD that he made a career change. He's been in the fire department ever since.

The same thing happened to my buds dad.. got the bag and now he hermit. Says he’s less of a man I told him nonsense you stepped up to the occasion and are handling shit like a man!
My neighbor where I am now is the only person I’ve heard of to get this bag reversed

The surgeon that did the emergency surgery is confident it can be reversed, and he is not one to bullshit his patients. One thing I did learn is that the fact that I smoke tobacco contributed to an incisional hernia about 4 inches long. When the surgeon saw that on a followup CT scan, he referred me to some specialists in Georgetown Hospital. They absolutely insist that I quit smoking for at least a month before having the surgery. Working on that now.

Also I am switching 100% to edibles, mostly tincture. The stuff I make is almost scary potent. Take about 3ml and your day, so far as productivity goes, is pretty much over. In a good way, mind you

I am planning on having the surgery in early 2022. By then the hospital shouldn't be packed with COVID patients anymore. That leaves me with enough time to get a grow done and some edibles made to sneak into the hospital. All the seeds I have are well over a year old. One thing that joining AFN did for me was send me off on a seed shopping spree. Assuming my beans are all still viable I have enough for 100 plants, of which I can grow (legally) 4 at a time. Lots of Mephisto Gens in the collection. Probably going to look for a strain that is particularly good with pain for the post-surgery recovery.

Meanwhile, off to the kitchen to scare up some steak and eggs.
