My truck did not pass smog today Back to the garage!

Hello AFN! I stumbled across something that I wanted to share. My Mum ice brands her horses and uses 99% alcohol. I snagged some to clean computer parts. Not sure if this would work for hash / extraction, just wanted to share.

When I was researching extraction methods ISO came up several times as a solvent. The thing is unless you have a perfect vacuum chamber you risk poisoning yourself. Even at that if any trace is found in the lab it is not allowed for sale in CA. In talking to the lab I have had test my chocolate They stated to me you cannot get ISO out once you put it in. They detected ethanol in my chocolate but that was ok. The moral of the story is don't use it.

The skull and cross bones is the international symbol for something that can kill you!

Interesting and insightful information, thank you. It works great for cleaning off thermal grease, I'll keep using it for just that. That's a bummer about your truck.
