Good Morfnoevight All You Growmies!

Got the lawn mowed shopping done. We have the dry end of a Monsoon sweeping up the mountain range today. There will be a lot of dry lightning. Not good for fire season. Between the bureaucracy and the tree hugers the real work of managing the forests cannot get done. The Indian peoples did a much better job than we do.

So Chores are done the only question now is: Panama Red or Citradelic Sunset?

Mono tree farming with gmo trees by corporations, extraction capitalism, climate change, stage 5 drought, neglected infrastructure, these all play a huge part in the 250+ fires burning here in BC, and those in the states.

Or maybe its a space laser and not enough people raking up the forest floor :smoking:

I've seen lightning all over the world. There is nothing like a strong lightning storm in the desert. Pretty scary if you're out in the boonies!

It is complicated and I do not totally understand all of it but it involves bucking the trees to a certain height and doing controlled floor burns. I have a friend that manages 60 acres that were involved in the Creek Fire last year. He said he lost about a third of his forest because the fire roared up the canyon with its own wind over 40 MPH. The fire stopped at his property without intervention. So it can be done. He has been doing this forest management work with Grants and University of California co-op. It is based on the methods the Indians used in the past here except he has modern tools. It is all about small equipment though so it does not trample the forest. They just planted 850 trees this spring.

He said the money is coming for a small army of well equipped men for forest management - If the money is spent properly?

One thing that is being done in some countries is having stands of deciduous trees, which act as fire breaks. Leaf trees keep the fire on the floor of the forest, out of the crowns of the trees, and burn way slower.

Where we lived in Washington State before moving to Canada, we had fires surrounding our town 2 out of 6 years, all started by lightning. I would stay up all night watching for hot embers falling. I feel for all who are experiencing that and worse this summer.

And hopefully, there will be a wake up call and resources will be redirected into healthy forests, grasslands, and such. That the money will be spent properly, and not just to support another bureaucracy.

LIKE DEUCE BIGALOW
I'M OK WITH TALL GIRLS!
:headbang::headbang:

She's well above my head and new bud sites are sprouting all over from stretching out the stems.
She's taking up about a gallon a day now!

@WildBill ...if she gets much taller you are going to have to put lights up on your frame to deter light aircraft...... :pass:

LOL! Kinda feels that way!
This strain is interesting as a fast photo. One girl spurted up and started flowering early and slowed her upwards growth once the buds were more organized.....5-7 days. Kinda not what is normal............no 'flower stretch. I'll be able to tell in a couple days if this Bigalow lovin' girl will follow her sister's pattern. To be honest, I hope she does follow her sister's pattern. She's plenty tall enough! LOL! She should prove interesting.

This is why I'm good with her current height.

When I saw this pic, she became my choice to test and I knew I would have to support her well. The Haze in the 15gal pot flowering shows a flowering pattern that could form colas like the above. If this girl in the EB flowers similarly, she could be a massive producer if I can keep up with her in flower. I've started building the flower nutes bank and I have enough FFJ to flower a greenhouse full of her! LOL! If that's not good enough, I have some Blue Gold from BAS as a back up, but I doubt if I'll need it. I kinda want to make a full run with them using a modified KNF program only.

I just hope the flower will work for me and not too racy. I do need a good day smoke for an uplift. I do think I will have a fair amount of canna to deal with. :eyebrows::biggrin:
