It looks like to me that this is gonna be such an outstanding quality FAA! I didn't get to make this until the next day so we're going on less than six days and there is quite a bit of oil already hanging right underneath the sugar cap I put on this concoction!
I didn't add any IMO but instead I added EM1. I do think those microbes have been going at it pretty hard and heavy with the amount of bubbles that have come up and with the large amount of oil. You can clearly see the bubbles in the shot . I definitely think that the pineapple is part of the reason why it's in the position it is currently.
I dipped my little pinky into that oil and it tasted quite good! I could not detect any real fishy taste and it was only slightly sweet, but not sugary sweet. The salmon definitely was not cheap, I think it was a little over $55 for this. I do think the end product will be
well worth it!
I haven't touched it any and I think I may need to add a little bit to the sugar cap with being able to see some of the salmon and some of the pineapple. I think the bubbles have stirred things up just a little bit.
This will probably be my last ferment without IMO. I've got a couple of really good spotsI that should be able to collect quite quickly I think. I think to make my collection box, all I'm going to use is a flat rectangular Tupperware container and just drill some holes in the bottom.
I may see some sprouts sometime today, but most likely we'll have some tomorrow!
That Asian haze is a must sprout !
