It may take longer then usual tho if u just dropped garlic cloves in! I remember when i was going to ferment garlic to make OHN it said garlic needed to be soaked in alcohol (forget which kind) for a week to soften it up and make it start breaking down some so that when u ferment it the process doesn’t take forever!That honey/garlic ferment I JUST set up today? It's already bubbling.... Did not expect it to get started so quickly

Ya def not too full cuz even with a 1 way air valve the ferment can build enough pressure to push the ferment into the valve and fuck shit up! I used to ferment all my plant nutes til i got lazy and lost motivation to put in the work!The guide I read said to just beat the cloves up a bit - that starts some process of creating more of what feeds the ferment. So I bashed them while in a bag to partially crush most of them.
The bubbles could just be from the kombachi I added. Jar is super full, too. Starting to think I should split it into two jars so there is more headspace.
