My uncle lived in Texas for a long time. I remember him talking about possum kingdom lake a lot.

Crazy catfish there! Lake ray hubbard has huge striped bass! At joe pool lake we were fishing in a spot of the docks at marina (where not allowed to fish) and me and my buddy thought we got snagged in the bushes and wound up being a 80 something pound catfish! Was so big it had a stringer in its mouth where u could tell it was caught already and tied up and it broke itself free but still had half the stringer stuck thru its lip!

Went out for wings for dinner.

The place is slammed and we could either wait or sit on the patio. We went with patio. Turns out it's where all the bar flys go to smoke and talk loudly on speaker phone. Regretting this decision.

Got a dozen garlic wings headed my way, though.

No idea when the talking on speakerphone in public became a trend but it definitely makes me want to give somebody a nice

Been so long since i been fishing pretty sure that wasn’t even a lake back then! Its a newer man made lake i believe unless they just renamed some lake and i never heard about it which is also a possibility!

Joe pool lake was a local one that was man made when i was in high school and they were still digging it out in places and major flash floods came and filled the lake in so much it had to just be done as is! Heard there were literally bulldozers underneath the bridge going over lake that got stuck and are still there! Or it was a tale told to us to keep us from going bridge jumping!

Well you are right it is a reservoir but it’s been there a long time well before you were thought of
