I had to make about 30 gallons of ranch dressing in culinary school. People who saw me dump a load of anchovies in the mix freaked but anchovies are used for the salty taste :toke: The ranch topic conjured the memory :haha:
I was taught to put anchovies in Cesar dressing for the same reason :pass:
