Tent size is everything. Be real sure your getting what your going to need.

I do want to start small. Maybe only one plant at a time. Is there a size you recommend?

Last month my wife had me advise one of her co-workers, he was going to buy a 2x2 mars hydro kit, I tried to convince him the 2x2 was going to be to small. But he knew best. I just sold him my old 4x4 yesterday, no BS.

Hi everyone! I have a couple new questions about things.

Is Mars Hydro a good brand? I was looking at their complete growing kits. The price isn't bad at all. I can go with other brands if you guys recommend it.

Seeds. Who do you guys trust to order through? I see the banner at the top of the page for multiverse beans. Are they reliable and vetted?

What kind of grow will you undertake? Tent size? Do you think you will likely expand? Pot sizes etc.

Whoa thanks for the quick answers! I am still not sure where or what space I am going to use. I will have to go around with a tape measure and check what will fit.

@HugeGlob - Thanks for the reassurance that I can always upgrade later. I didn't want to buy a Porsche before getting my permit sort of situation.

You can generally get better stuff, cheaper, if you piece it together. Just need to know what size space you've got, budget, and grow style (soil or other) and I'm sure we can get you a nice setup. Majority of your budget is gonna be in your light

I can only give you my take on tent vs harvest size. Harvest cant be predicted, your gonna get an ounce from one plant and 4 ounces from another. Is an oz gonna last you 3-4 months while your next plant is growing? I recommend a 2x4 as a first tent. two plant will get you through to the next harvest. IMO.

Biggest tent you can fit. Everybody ends up going bigger eventually and not a big price difference in a 2x4 and a 4x4. And the tent is a part that you can kinda cheap out on. Can grow 1 plant if you wantv in it, but can also grow multiple
