Yeah, I was sorta commenting on how it’s good to use water from some big corporate place like Poland, arrowhead, etc… You know, big companies, lotsa employees whose sole job is to maintain quality…
I have too lol. I'm saying he wasn't using enough water. Because he was paying money for the grab and go bottles and using way too little water. Did you use a one gallon Poland springs or a tiny bottle and think it was enough
LOL,,, I was grabbing 7-8 5gallon jugs at a time, my buddy ran the delivery route and I got a huge discount,,,,hehehe LOL
Watering is the hardest part, but when you just give the soil barely any water like your buddy, you just have to shakeyour.head and walk away snickering...LOL
This one we shall see what happens! The 48hr soak was far too long and the seed shell came totally off! Still planted the baby and surprisingly it has broke soil and opened up so may actually survive!
One on right u can see the cotyledon poking out while still floating!
Lil mobstar X livers
Got 2 more planted in back pot but neither is up yet!
"They" say that if coco dries out it becomes hydrophobic, in other words water runs off it like a duck. So if it dries out you could get parts of the pot that stay dry no mater how much you water it. The only way you'd know is after harvest if you take apart the root ball.
If coco dries out, water slowly with some yucca wait a few and water a little more etc. Or you can use another wetting agent. Peat is the one that is really hydrophobic.
@Lil Dab, @Frank the Dank did a write up on his watering program in one of his grow threads. He said he's changed it a little but still works. I do something similar in 5 gallon pots. He uses pro mix, but I use canna coco brick, but works.
