Why am I like this? Lmfao. Cleaned out the shed today and have added a substantial amount to the "toss" pile. Got the shelving that was on the patio up till we paved it set up in the shed, its bigger in there than I had realized but then again I had never seen it empty lol. Went and picked up some veg starts from the nursery since my seeds never showed and I'm running out of time to get things in the ground. Chopped down the camellia cause its super heavily infested with idek what kind of pests, ordered a native Swamp Rose to replace it. Now I'm looking at the patio area with my stupid brain telling me "you should frame this out and make it into a sunroof or screened porch!" So uh, idk when but I think that'll happen at some point now that its in my head  bulk of the veg I got are vine type so I'll be building up a bunch of trellises for that. Will be stapling chicken wire to the fence to use as a trellis along that side in the mean time. Want to at least frame out the one side of the under-balcony so I can put in a door out to the garden so that the dogs stay out. Going to have to go out there with my measuring tape again and start on drawing something up. Almost tempted to frame out the garden area as well and fit it with bird netting, wonder if I could build poly sheet panels for it to use as a greenhouse in the winter/early spring. We will see  like I said, idk why I'm like this lmao. If I do frame out the under balcony, I'm going to put in some under deck fiberglass ceiling with a gutter so that it'll stay dry under there. Idk we shall see, but my brain is doing its damn buzzy with ideas thing again :rofl: wonder how much all of our sweat equity will end up increasing our home value whenever we end up upgrading? Will be interesting to see I suppose.

Until you're completely shut down and need $40k in batteries. Every 3 years
Really? Can you point me to the source for that cost and replacement schedule? My seat of the pants arithmetic suggests that if those figures are accurate, the electric F150 may not be as attractive as I figured. I'd be surprised if an electric F150 could save $40k in fuel in three years even if prices stay at current Canadian levels of ~~$2/l.

I guess we will see what happens with the electric F150. I know which way Ford is betting. They have so many reservations already that they are increasing production capacity from 80,000 per year to 150,000 per year ( Ford Making More F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Trucks to Meet Demand (motortrend.com)

The Toyota Prius completely took over the taxi industry in large Canadian centers in the space of a couple years. Nothing with four wheels could compete even at gas prices a decade ago. Good luck finding a non-hybrid taxi in Vancouver B.C. nowadays. I would not be surprised to see hybrid taxis killed by full electric before long. I expect that the F150 will do a similar upset in compatible commercial operations over the next several years. I will be watching with great interest.

It wouldn't have anything to do with "resident chaos deity" would it?

Hey @Suki813, you been going through my posts...

How ya doing girl? Got those yard improvements under control yet?

All well here, other than having to wait until fall to pop some seeds. Still working on the irrigation design, being the cheap diy bugger that I am. Looks like it will be all coco/perlite and automatic top irrigation, kind like I did in the last solo grow, only in ~1.5 gallon pots. I figure that if I can produce 60g in a solo cup, I should do pretty nicely in pots about 6 times that size. What could go wrong eh?

Anyway lass, all the best out your way, keep up the good work. :pighug:
