La Buena Hierba La Buena Hierba Seeds Grow N Show of 2021

REGULAR SUNDAY UPDATE!
The only real issue I've had/have is the topmost media temps running too high. I just gotta get off my ass and cut some Panda film and drape it over both of the boxes. Have enough to use clips on the two sides and drape to the ground to cover the sides of the Earth boxes and secure that with some bricks or what ever is handy

6 of 8 out.....I’ll put it into solo cups seeds also...No time to play hopefully they’ll pop in the cup

Hang your Ziploc bags vertically let gravity do the work straight roots every time.

REGULAR SUNDAY UPDATE
Hurtin' 'too much to file last night
Waira

Girls are progressing well, some better than others. Got an unexpected rain that screwed up feeding plans on the open pot girls. I couldn't feed as much as I wanted, so I added some EWC. Pulled off the old hay, added EWC, replaced the hay, added some more hay and fed each girl a little over a quart each of Humic and amino acid solution.
Each Earth Box girl got teaspoon of BAS Craft Blend, two cups EWC, 3 cups compost, handful of bokashi and top watered close to 3/4 of Humic and amino acid solution. With this feeding, Monday I will mix up the humic acid and fill both EB rez. Until they start drinking heavily, I'll be dumping the rez after 72hours.

All girls got a spraying of Dr Zymes as a preventive..............before adding EWC

Update:

Day 35 for all girls. All have been flipped.

First off, DD is a BEAST. Already at 3ft tall barely a week into flip. Hopes she stays controllable.

Panama Haze don't seem to branch much but is as tall as DD.

Asian Haze seems to require high amounts of nutrients. Bottom leaves are yellowing quite bad. Gotta give a good feed soon and we'll see what she does?

:jointman: they look solid Bill, loved the rain too I bet! ... a PITA for the feed plan though-

...that's a real head scratcher bake, might be the Panama is a wonky pheno? DD is going to be a wrestling match I bet, she's want to lift the tent off thew damn floor! ... then you have the opposite build in that AHz - :confused1:  -- I can't even begin to figure why such differences in builds...
But I do agree on the N defc,... how are you covering the micronutes? If you're confident on the N inputs, then it may be some other hidden defc. is restrictingf N uptake, usually that's a micronute....
Can you do some foliar feeds to help catch up on that?

Might as well toss up a pic of the ChemDSDHz! Now 4 days in the KIS soil and on site, shaping up nicely...

>>> Bill, I think it may be about 6 weeks before even these half-auto's show sex.....
The other halfie girl, Bluebonic/Guerilla Gold3 x S99v4, is looking much the same, both of them are more mature in leaf/node development than the others photo's...

Weird thing is they're pretty much in the same soil. DD is doing great. Over 40 inches now. Fingers crossed she stops soon but i see budding already so good sign at least. Don't know what to expect as the site literally only has a partial budshot. But the genetics listed are uber impressive.

Panama haze while not branching heavily, does look to be flowering normally. Everything seems normal. I'm not suspecting anything amiss with her yet.

Asian Haze is a bit of a mystery. I had highest hopes for her. Just fed 1.25g per gallon of MC1.0. I am seeing improvements but also some slight clawing. Micronutes should be well covered by MC but I also use a beneficials+amino acids+micronute supplement as foliar and soil drench. Might add a small amount of epsom salt next watering just in case. I've had strains go Mg hungry in the past that looked like this.

Anyways, it's all good. I'm happy i received them in time. Only wanted to pop one but LBH sent me so many beans of each that It'd be a crime to pop only one. So however this round goes, I've got many more chances ahead.

Asian Haze #2 showed sex today.
Waira

Not a regular update, just a good milestone.

Got another rain this morning. Worked out goos with #2 in the 15gal pot came outto the perfect moisture level.
Well well well! As I expected, Asian Haze #2 showed sex today. I really thought it would be the EB girl showing first. It should show tomorrow.
The EB Asian Haze#1 should be a big girl. She's getting tall and her main stem is much thicker than the 15gal pot girl.

DAY31
She's showing sex there and above, but nothing below that point.

Took things off both EBs and was quite happy with the activity on top of the soil. Compost mites eating and worms munching on top.
I went ahead and drained both EBs. I'm gonna put a drain on these boxes for the next run. A simple bulkhead penetration large enough not to clog.

REGULAR SUNDAY UPDATE

Girls in the Earth boxes are doing good I'm happy with the worm and other helper activity in the topsoil of the box. I think the hay is working quite well in keeping temps down and it's not really much of a hassle. The EBs have been drained for two days. I think I can safely feed both on Monday.

Girls are progressing very well. Got ANOTHER unexpected rain that screwed up feeding plans on the open pot girls. I'm just waiting for the pots to dry out so I can feed, I'm straining off some of my FFJ so I can give the flowering girls some food for when they get into flower. I think I'll go ahead and feed it as soon as they dry out enough to water.

La Buena Hierba: Asian Haze #1 DAY 35 .......still no sex. Only one inch taller than the other, but MUCH thicker main stem. I think she's gonna be big!:eyebrows:

La Buena Hierba: Asian Haze #2 DAY 35..........
She has shown sex, but very different than any other auto. I saw sex vat a top node, one node below the new growth. Then a day or so later on the branches she showed sex. But still nothing on the main stem.
Can you guys explain the way these girls show sex and flower?
