I went ahead and put the rooter plug in the hydrotron so here we go my first hydroponic adventure. I'll keep an eye on it if it starts drying out I will raise the water level. I think it will be alright the clay balls seem to be getting plenty of moisture.

This is my 3rd year with a deep water bubbly tank and my red clay balls and my jiffy cubes dry out wicked if I don't keep the water high enough. Maybe you got wetter bubbles than I do. Ha ha.

yeah my bubbles from the air stone are popping up and are keeping my hydrotron clay balls moist but not soaked from what I have been reading that is what you want. I wish AFN tube was able to upload vids and I would show you guys what I have going on. I'm no expert this is my first go round with DWC so lets see what everybody thinks about this

subed and in on the action, good luck man. DWC hyro takes some looking after but its well worth it and hey half the fun in growing your own weed is the GROW and the other smoking it!

I know SB keeps his water up on the pot, i tried that first bucket i did and yup it works but then i set up a few more and tried the water 2cm below and the roots are reaching out all over, not just a single tap root.

The plug never dried as all those little popping bubbles sprayed it.

I woke up this morning and went in to check on my girl and everything is stable pH is still@5.8 ppm@170 water temp@74f. my rapid rooter cube was nice and moist and when I pulled the net pot out it has splashes coming all up the sides and the hydrotron is nice and saturated.
