Indoor Kyote's 2021 Adventures in Grow Land Indoor & Outdoor

End of week 3 for Northern Lights x Big Bud

This plant is putting smiles in me heart. It's been a rough grow this winter with soil problems on a couple runs. So to see her thriving in a 1 gallon pot in a new soil with added wc and just a bit of perlite, I'll call this winter a success if I have got a good grow medium. :smoking:

Last watering/feed was at 300ppm

Next watering this week will feed Miicrobial Mass Pro

Today after topping yesterday @ 4th node

3rd node only had one fan shoot off (to the left in picture), so she was a bit out of balance for a bit :eek1:

i think using soil is a lot more complicated than coco but i would love to try it at some stage did you say this was a new one if so do you add your own stuff to it i looked at some super soils to maybe try on my gorilla grow

This is made by a farm here locally. The guy at the feed/farm store recommended it for growing cannabis.

They add zeolite, kelp, compost, their own organic soil, organic fertilizer, and a bit of perlite to peat from their own bog. With this test run, I added 15% worm casings and 15% perlite to it. I am also feeding with MC, but going light on it for now.

I am picking Waira's brain about it to see what else would be good to add to it for outdoor grows this year.

And just want to add, with those air domes or whatever they are called, I read they can increase growth 130%. Huh, I gonna be watching you :smoking:

I'm very sceptical about the domes being that good but i went with 3 of the same strains this time in the autopots as i normally run lots but I'm hoping its either going to be better but 20 per cent would be nice lol. also this was a soil that a couple of the soil growers mentioned https://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/sohum-living-soils-42-5-litre.html its a water only type of thing

I wish I knew more about soils. It is a learning curve. The Sohum sounds like it has a good base to me. ohum Living Soils is a first class media therefore - only water is required, to allow for the specially blended mix of ingredients to become active which includes : kelp, meal, crab meal, bone meal, alfalfa meal, perlite, peat moss and worm castings.

I see some guys growing in 15 and 30 gallon living soils on here, multiple strains going at the same time in one big pot. Pretty cool it is.

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Blackberry Gum
End of week 8 Candy Dawg.

End of week 7 Blackberry Gums.

Day 27 on NLxBB.

Pretty pathetic butz still plugging along. Feeding @ 600ppm MC with 80ppm Cal/mag on Blackberrys and the Dawg.

NLxBB is cruising nicely in the new medium. Fed at 450ppm MC only.

The Blackberry Gums aren't doing much of anything. They can hang out until the Candy Dawg is done. At that time, probably the compost pile for them. (sorry)

Thats a cool trick! Can you get some more shots from the side of what you're doing with the pipe cleaners?

EDIT: spelling sie - side

Cool trick with the pipe cleaners. It’s kinda like those hard plastic elbows that help train plants to 90 degree angles but not super cropping.
looks like they are still flexible and taking it well

Here you are. The branches on this plant are so supple to work with. Maybe due to the zeolite in the medium?

I bend the stem, making sort of a half loop with me thumb and forefinger, and slip the trainer on, then tighten a bit.

Had to pull her from the tent as it's night for them right now, so's she's a bit sleepy.
