Indoor Kyote's 2021 Adventures in Grow Land Indoor & Outdoor

Local is good!

What's the "Slow release fertilizer"? I don't really like to see that really generic term. It could mean any damn thing and most are not good.

Right? I have contacted them and haven't heard back. Need to call them tomorrow as they seem to be avoiding email.

I struggled all winter indoors with some bad medium, so I started a test grow with just the soil, some ewc, and a bit of perlite in a 1 gallon pot and the plant is thriving. I am using low ppm's of Mega Crop, as I have 5 pounds of it. So far, so good with it.

Thanks for your input WildBill :d5:

We live in an agricultural community (small farms). It's all cooked and turned well as it has no manure smell. I have a friend who used it last year in his veggie garden and had no problem with seeds. The soil mix is made about 30 miles from here, so all locally sourced.

I'm thinking this for right now.

Per ten gallons of soil mix adding
3 gallons of perlite
1 gallon EWC
1/2 gallon mixed manure
1/4 cup DE
1/4 cup alfalfa meal

The soil mix contains horticultural grade peat moss, coconut coir, premium aged organic compost, organic soil, Natural Zeolite, Organic Kelp, Slow release fertilizer and perlite.

This is being mixed for photoperiods. What ya think? Ya, na? Hell no?
Same concern with the “slow release fertilizer”, and depending on how much perlite is already in the mix I might add even more. Also I really like malted barley powder, but that’s kind of a pain to find some places.
I bet the recipe you have planned will be awesome, looks like a great mix :headbang: And local is good.

If you're running a living soil, malt (sprout with a tiny tail) your own, blend it and strain it, Add the strained liquid (SST)to your compost tea and feed to your plant. Take the veg matter and feed to your worms. Worms LOVE it! You can just put it on top and cover back up with straw. Even better is to put it in a used up avocado skin or coconut shell. You also malt it, dry on a cookie sheet in an off oven, and grind it yourself. I like it fresh an as a SST.

Happy spring growfolks! :cooldance: :jump::pass:

Nice shape on all those! I would leave the BBGum, a little behind is all? It's growing decently though. I love the mid-stem pipe cleaner LST trick.

A little behind they are, as in missing the bus  They should be weeks into flower by now :wall: It is what it is

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg n some NL X BB
Day 71 for the Seedstockers Candy Dawg
Day 42 on the NL x BB
Day 86'd for the Blackberry Gum's that didn't flower after 63 days

VPD is aimed to flowering so the test NL x BB in the transplant bag hasn't been getting the best VPD for her age

Feeding around 600ppm MC with 100ppm of BE

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & w/ NLxBB straggler
Day 76-77 for Candy Dawg
Day 40 for NLxBB

Candy Dawg is surprising me in a good way. Buds are putting a bit on. Golf ball size now. Cut the MC down to 300ppm on the last couple feeds this week, with 100ppm of Bud Explosion.

NLxBB is doing ok as well for the time being. Feeding at 500ppm range.

Light meter 47 to 55k for my reference.

:toke: So that's all folks for this week. :toke:

Those both look improved to me from your previous post on Monday. Turning out alright in the end.

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Unknown NLxBB
End of week 12 on the Dawg. Water only now as it started foxtailing like crazee, so it' gonna be chop time in the coming week :tang: and the trichomes are cloudy as well.

I figure the foxtailing is due to too high a DLI for the environment, so I backed the lights down a bit.

NLxBB in the gallon pot is doing alright and the other NLxBB received some light lst. Bent the main over is all on this one. Feeding both NLxBB @ 500 to 600ppm of Mega Crop, and both received Miicrobial Mass this week.

Also started getting a couple spots in the greenhouse prepared for photo grows.

And greenhouse prep - going to be nice this coming week, so will get this together in here. Think I've healed enough from surgery to start tossing bags around  There will be approximately 3 cubic feet of soil in each hole.

That'z all for the adventures in Kyoteland this week :toke:
