Indoor Kyote's 2021 Adventures in Grow Land Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Blackberry Gum fed, watered, new pot racks
  • Just a quick midweek update. :toke:

Water and fed 6.1ph and 560ppm. :greencheck:

Got some baker's stainless steel drying racks to put under the pots instead of upside down saucers.

The new growth on the CD's showing better green in the leaves, while the effected leaves continue to fade. :eek1:

Did a bit of leaf tucking on the Candy Dawg. :weed:

The NL x BB is still under the dome for a bit longer.

Oh, and me EC motor echaust fan just quit on me. I have a cheap exhaust fan for backup so that will do until the new Infinity gets here around the end of the month.

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Blackberry Gum feed update
  • Fed the two Blackberry Gum again tonight @550ppm.

I mixed up a jug of MC to 1500ppm.

Now, I pour a bit of that in a quart measuring cup, put in my ppm meter, and pour in rain water until the ppm is where I want it to be. A touch of baking soda and 6.0ph.

Want to keep that new growth a nice green

  • End of week 4 on the Blackberry Gum and end of week 5 on Candy Dawg.

Fed Candy Dawg this morning (for the plants) @560ppm @6.3ph. :greencheck:

Also did a little lst as well on the Dawg.

All the new growth on the Blackberry Gum is coming in a nice green now. The one is stacked so tight. No space between nodes.

NL x BB is still above ground.

Light meter says 27 to 30k for me reference.

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Blackberry Gum ( NLxBB update day 8)
  • Got a new medium test pot going with this NLxBB.

First watering with 150ppm of MC.

Have it in the corner of the tent with a light filter to keep it down a bit. Light filter is a piece of typing paper with some large paper clips.

Light meter says 15k on it which should be fine for another week.

Got the new Infinity fan today so that is in the tent now as well. Should have bought Infinity in the first place.

Two nice sets of leaves on her.

  • End of week 6 for the Dawg and week 5 for the Blackberry Gum. :weed:

Upped the feeding on both to 660ppm and see how they grow. 6.2ph

The Dawg is opened up to stretch away.

Gave the one Blackberry Gum a little styling. This plant is a squat bush with dense foliage.

Day 12 for Northern Lights x Big Bud in a test medium. Got her first feeding @125ppm.

Lights are at 30k on the meter for reference. NLxBB sits in the corner and is @ 15k on the meter.

  • End of week 7 one the Candy Dawg and week 6 on the Blackberry Gum

NL x BB is at day 20 and cruising nicely. Topped it after I took the picture at the 4th node. Fed on Thursday @300ppm.

Gave the Dawg 80ppm of cal/mag along with feeding at 630ppm.

Blackberry Gum feeding @630ppm. They are doing little if nothing. Would figure to see some flowering action by now.

NL x BB in front. Candy Dawg in flower, and Blackberry Gum just hanging out.

Indoor winter 2021 Seedstockers Candy Dawg & Blackberry Gum NLxBB update
  • End of week 3 for Northern Lights x Big Bud

This plant is putting smiles in me heart. It's been a rough grow this winter with soil problems on a couple runs. So to see her thriving in a 1 gallon pot in a new soil with added wc and just a bit of perlite, I'll call this winter a success if I have got a good grow medium. :smoking:

    Last watering/feed was at 300ppm

Next watering this week will feed Miicrobial Mass Pro

Today after topping yesterday @ 4th node

    IMG_3444.JPG

3rd node only had one fan shoot off (to the left in picture), so she was a bit out of balance for a bit :eek1:

  • End of week 8 Candy Dawg.

End of week 7 Blackberry Gums.

    Day 27 on NLxBB.

Pretty pathetic butz still plugging along. Feeding @ 600ppm MC with 80ppm Cal/mag on Blackberrys and the Dawg.

NLxBB is cruising nicely in the new medium. Fed at 450ppm MC only.

The Blackberry Gums aren't doing much of anything. They can hang out until the Candy Dawg is done. At that time, probably the compost pile for them. (sorry)

Getting ready for spring 2021 greenhouse preparation
  • Getting a bit antsy so played in the greenhouse today. It's a small one, 9 x 12. Last year I monitored the temps in it and didn't attempt use it for growing. I had temps spike to 120F in there, so setting up decent air exchange and circulation is a priority. I still have to run some wiring out there for a 16 inch oscillating fan.

This potting soil is new to me. It has a lot of goodness already in it. The plan is having 15 gallons of soil per photo plant, with a mixture of 10 gallons potting soil, 1 gallon of EWC, .5 gallon of chicken manure, .5 gallon horse manure, and 3 gallons of perlite. Oh, and I will also add a few cups of diaromatics earth as well to the mix.

If you have any suggestions on the mix, I'm all ears. :toke:

And I have a feeling not too many folks would get excited over bags of manure and soil, butz I know how some of ya are :smoking:
