Indoor kfigerm tries his best

grow 01-2024 - day 86
  • The days are fading and foxtailing like crazy, but still have a lot of white fresh pistils. Don't dare to harvest.
The tops of the strawberry cheesecake have nearly no trichs on new growth, the mimosa x orange punch is frosty as hell.
They are not very healthy now, so i have to watch closely not to harvest too late to catch a pest.
The rest of the dos si dos is also still in the tent in the front/lower middle

grow 01-2024 - day 89 - dos si dos down
  • Today i was fed up with the mess in the tent and i took down the rest of the Dos si dos.
Now 6 more brown paperbags with fine nuggets dry, and two with larf.
But the mess didn't get better. Found some budrot in the strawberry cheesecake, bet leaning at the tent wall wasn't too good, so i chopped some of her colas for a rescue. A powerful light from a flashlight is now always at hand to inspect the buds - more light, more insight into the buds. But they both throw new pistils all the time - damned girls!
I feed them the rest of what i have of the runoff - mostly a P excess in it so i topped it up with a little micro (N1 K4)and it's good to go back to the girls at an EC of 1.6 - don't do that like me :-) - perhaps thats why they throw new pistils.

Didn't take pictures of the Dos si Dos auto, though she was the only one stable enough to take her our of the tent and take some shots - but you have seen her before and the rest was not so interesting anymore.
All I have is this: the claypebble layer completely consumed by the roots - they are fresh and healthy though they stood in runoff all during the grow like before.

Now the tent looks like this

That's it for today - keep your fingers crossed for me that i don't loose much more buds til i can harvest.
    Have a nice Weekend!

Dos si Dos harvest Results and going on
  • Hi,
The Dos si Dos is curing in grove bags now. The dry result was 260g plus 60g of larf. I am very happy with the result. As it's only allowed to keep 50g per person a lot will have to "disappear".
The two ladies that are still in the tent, are doing well. No more mold yet and they still throw a lot of new pistils. But as it seems it stops now and the pistils on the tops start to dry.
Because of their stability there will be no full single shots of the plants this time on harvest day. I will have to take them out of the tent piece by piece.
    Here are some pics.

Overview with the new starters (gorilla cookies fb, Cookies Kush bf, Runtz auto bf) below.

    grow 01-2024 - day 12
  • So we already started with the second grow.
Yesterday I took out the last girl and cleaned the tent with isopropanol. Most of the bad things should be gone and we are ready for a new start.
    This time it is

    Barneys Farm Runtz Auto
    Barneys Farm Cookies Kush
    Fastbuds Gorilla Cookies Auto

They are at day 12 and because as stated above approx with the start of the ladies the humitity sank and I had to keep it lower with the ripe girls still in the tent. Should have swapped them 12 days earlier ;-)
The pyramids were soaked with EC 1400 and since start just kept moist. Today I will feed the first time, because i felt they became very light - the dehumifier in the tent must have sucked them as well.
They grew some little leaves and were looking for light making loooong necks.

    2024-07-18-101615_002.jpeg

there is a small runtz sitting on the side of a pyramid - she will be put on a recycled one and put outside for the rest of her life. and one still needs the right tray - which still holds the rest of the MxO that will be dumped today. Busy times.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!
    Cheers!

    grow 02-2024 - day 15
  • The ladies were a little shaken because i messed up the nutes a bit - swapped it with the garden nutes - but they grow.
Not so happy in the beginning once again, but lets see where this is heading to. I am used to larger fans at this stage, but It can't always go perfect. Because all four fell victim to my mistreating, i was thinking about restarting, but then...well no one will be left behind.
So I just ditched the smallest for another experiment, and threw her in the garden and decided to treat the rest as good as i can from now on.
Light will be on ...24 @420autoflower. Will be running a scene with the mars hydro lights. Any recommendations anyone?

Feed was flushed with 5l of EC 1200EC grow feed (8-6-11)feed and all looks going back to normal. The damage remains.

Cheers and have a nice start into the Week!

    grow 02-2024 - day 21
  • Hi, another week has passed. They do fine.
All three were fimed this time, nut just topped, lets see if i hit the right spot.
I just start to feed them twice a day. EC 1400 PH 6
atm i cannot upload pictures, but all is well. Will post them once i can (server error is gone)
    Cheers! :pass:

    grow 02-2024 - day 28
  • Hi all you nice people. Hope you did well during the week.
Here the weather is mixed and moist, so everything is a little delicate with the grow. But still the ladies in the then grow and benefit from the conditions.
They all get the same nutes and grow nice and even - the gorilla cookies is a little smaller, but shes at 35cm - the other ladies are at 40cm.
The mix is 8-10-10-8 (NPK 8-6-12) EC 1400 - still enough - forgot some Mg addition and got some spots, but all is well now. PH ~ 6.
I feed them twice a day but they do not drink very heavy, so in the evening i just top and run the pumps for 4 minutes while in the evening they flood the tray in 7minutes.
Then I have a time schedule set to fit to my solar production and battery needs, and see how the plants do. I also give them more power now.
    2024-08-03-121510_002a-screne.png
anybody some criticism/suggestions to the plan?

They look good - see nearly even growth.
The lower Fans of the cookies kush are fat, but the runtz in the back left is just taking of for growth - You remember i wanted to replace the Think different for equal sized and behaving standard-base...well, they don't compare at all, but shes a good and forgiving plant and well fit for a base with better than mediocre growth and results.
    2024-08-03-120743_007a.jpeg

and here is the birdview - sorry didn't rotate - I left the wires in to keep the plants from the tent later on
    2024-08-03-120743_005a.jpeg

ah...and here are some outside girls also on pyramids.
    draussena.png

    Told you its mixed weather.
the leftmost is a Runtz which i took from the pyramid in the beginning - shes as old as the ladies above, but well behind.
The upper middle is an auto elephant and the upper right is an auto ultimate. The lower small one will be an unnamed experiment - same age. They all catch poudry mildew from time to time and i take off leaves from time to time. Just opened up the ultimate a little. Missing sun I'll leave as much of the solar panels on her as long they are OK. They will be getting full bloom nutes the next days. Having a pump also outside makes it easy to feed them, and due to the weather they don't drink too much. So neighbors and family are just making fun of the guy carrying plants from one sunny spot to another over the day.

    Cheers!:pass:

    grow 02-2024 - day 33
  • Hi,

today i decided to do the first big defoil just before stretch begins. Lets see how it plays out.
I opened them up with my diagonal 3mm-copper-wirespacers and lowered them good 10-15 cm in height. Hope I am not too late, but i think all is good.
What do you think @420autoflower and the others? Timely?
I hope they don't stretch too much now.
Lets see if i can once more challenge and top my best grow yet.

    grow 02-2024 - day 36/37
  • They bounced back nicely and I have to arrange the stretch a bit, like expected.
Using some supercropping and further widening them up now fills the tent today.
Lights are set to 90% over the 10 hours daytime and falling down to 31% for a 6h night period.

    Today
    2024-08-12-121343_003a.jpeg

again taking off some outgrown leaves newly covering budsites.
    Looking nice in there.
This grow is also boring in the sense that all goes smooth now. But extiting how it actually does great! Now I want to see the buds develop and break under their weight ;-)
This evening I will switch to 8-11-16 (gmbN 8-14-21-9 this time) as i see more and more pistils shooting the last 2 days. EC 2.0
    Cheers!
