Ph seams a bit low. Are you in soil or a peat mix? I had issues early on where I was off by a few 0.1 and it caused lock out later innthe grow.
Idk I adjust pH in buckets the day before and check before I water and it still is in good range barley shifts at all.... I was thing of using half ro and half tap would that work? Some one told me that...I'll try it....thanks...Could your pH be shifting while it sits in the bottom of the SIP bucket? I know my res I maintain is constantly shifting so I wouldn't necessarily trust the pH is remaining stable down there.
Personally I'd only consider something like an earthbox or SIP bucket if I was growing all organic with regular tap water. Just a lot of things that can go wrong
Soil what should I pH I added a little peat in the mix one liter to every 6 of soil.....Ph seams a bit low. Are you in soil or a peat mix? I had issues early on where I was off by a few 0.1 and it caused lock out later innthe grow.
I pH a 3.5 gal bucket at a time....a pH of 6??? Isn't that low for soil?I shoot for 6 myself....5.8 to 6.5 bouncing around in that area. And I noticed a shift as well so only do 2 to 4 gal at a time....
Here is a general guideline for pH and mediums, think I stole this from MoGI

It works for me...6, 5.8, 6.3, 6.5.......as long as it's in that range somewhere I'm ok with it....and it seems to work.I

Ok I'm using partial hydro in sip so maybe I need to go lower....It works for me...6, 5.8, 6.3, 6.5.......as long as it's in that range somewhere I'm ok with it....and it seems to work.
Thanks I'll lower mine a little bit 6-6.5Here is a general guideline for pH and mediums, think I stole this from MoG
PH for soil is 6.4 - 6.6
PH for Peat is 6.3 -6.4
PH for Coco is 5.8 to 6.2
PH for hydro is 5.8 to 6.2
Ok plus I add some....since I'm in sip...I'm changing to pro mix HP peat based..... instead of happy frog and added peatSince it seems most bagged soil is "fluffed" with cheap peat I figured a bit lower was OK and it seems to work.
