What's up, AFN! Well I was away from my plants all week, and man was it hot here. Temps in the cabinet are mostly in triple digits! Even now as I write this, cabinet temp is at 99. The critical purple (back) definitely showed heat stress, but it still throwing out new shoots. It actually stretched up some too. I think it will get through the heatwave okay.

The Gorilla Glue (front) grew like crazy, and wants to take over the whole cabinet. It definitely is handling the heat better. Actually seems to like it!

I threw in ice packs, cranked up the humidifier to 70 percent, and lifted the light to the very top of the cabinet, about 32 inches. The CP seems to be doing better.

I defoliated the GG like crazy, and even took a few large fan leaves from The CP too. It's not getting any

Tomorrow is reservoir change day. Keeping it the same as last week. Half strength micro, grow, and bloom, B-52, and hydroguard. Hopefully, they respond as well as they did last week.

Still no signs of flowering on either plant, so the plants should get to decent size all. They should have a lot of budsites, after being fimmed a couple times early on. I should have an opportunity for a normal to good yield.

Just have to keep trying to beat this heat, and do it a little better.

The edges of the leaves are turning up a bit. You might still have to back off the light another 10 cm due to the heat in the room. They will produce something though. Your res temps are crucial now to keeping them happy and promoting them to flower.

Yeah, I am watching that closely, Med. The light is at max height right now. If the CP doesn't look happy after the reservoir change, I might have to shorten the light period from 19 hours to 16 or so. That would be the next thing. Reservoir is steady at 66 degrees because of the chiller. Still saving the day.

Will keep pushing through, brother. Feel good about the GG, but will take whatever I can get from the CP. she is really being hot hard by the high temps.
