Okay, I have decided to switch to a 12/12 light cycle. Not to induce budding, but as an attempt to control heat in my cabinet. We should be in or at 100 degrees where I am for the next two weeks, and I have come to the realization that my plants simply can't handle that kind of heat. With this light cycle, I think I can keep the temps in the cabinet from going over 100 at any point. I think the plants will be happier and less stressed.
Sure I know that I am losing precious growth time, but I am hoping that 12 hours of good strong full spectrum lighting with my Kind LED, and supplemental T-5 's should help make up some of it.
The plants have been in darkness for 12 hours in these pics, and already seem to be happier and overcoming the heat stress I saw two days ago. The GG appears to be praying for the light. And here comes 12 hours. By then, I think it will be close to 100 degrees, and it will be ready for some down time.
This move will either make or break the grow.
Day 38.
