New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

I found a picture of when I would change to bloom nutrients. These buds are 4 to 6 weeks from ripe.

uuhm........ those plants are not in flower yet. I know it is exciting to see some pistils but be patient and keep feeding veg for now. Nutrients should follow the plant's lead; not try to push the plant.

Yeah, it was exciting seeing the activity at the budsites for the first time. Thought it would never happen! Okay, will hold off on the big bud, until it is clearly flowering. Thanks MOG.

I would wait maybe another couple weeks before switching them to the bloom nutes. They aren't there yet, but looking better. They will be fine. Great job man! You see, patience paid off. Even when you switch, you can do it more gradually as to not shock them too much. Those plants will be extra sensitive for sure. Wait just a little longer bro.
Good luck and keep it going.:clapper:

Thanks Med. I jumped the gun a bit, as this is the first sign of non leaf activity that I have noticed. Man, if they truly double when they start to flower, I am really going to have to manage height. That's a good problem to have down the road, I guess. Super happy the plants seem to be handling the heat with this new schedule!

Hardest thing for a new grower to do emotionally and physically is to super crop a plant to keep it out of the lights . The problem is many new growers as well as all of us end up in that situation indoors sooner or later. Have some grafting PARAFFIN TAPE on hand just in case. 6" lower than you think you should roll the stem crushing the inside 3 x the diameter of the stem in length between your forefinger and your thumb and bent the branch over at that pinch. Bend to 90° from the stem or horizontal to the light. If you did not get a good enough crush the stem can break usually just on the top. If this happens just wrap with the grafting tape and all will be well. You may need to tie down the bent over top as many branches just lift themselves right back up. A great lesson to teach yourself on your first harvest or any harvest for that matter is to practice super cropping on branches you have harvested. You will get a good feel for what it is to crush and bend without the dread of "Killing a Cola".

That's a cool tip, MOG. Thanks again for the assist!

One of your plants looks exactly like my monster cropped hash plants, bushy bushy!

Looking great.

Mazar, you don't know the half of it, brother! What you see now is after major regular defoliation. Before that, the leaves created a shell around the plant! Impenetrable.
