New Grower I can not successfully grow weed

Its substratum not made for cannabis its for the garden (like tomato salad..)

Those cups are good size. Just wrap the cups in tinfoil something so the roots aren't exposed to light. I figured that the soil would be a garden/tomato type of soil. You will want to get some kind of nutrients to feed with some time soon. Or a soil that is better amended for growing cannabis.

man oh man, are we havin fun yet-? whew! :smoking: i've been followin this, but simply haven't found 5 free minutez to reply yet, lol and the more i read along, the less inclined i'm getting to do so ok ok, JK! but seriously, the more i read & think about it, the more i'm startin to think "scrap this & start over clean" i don't uzually say such a thing...or wait, i've never said it actually, haha...but in ur case, well... in the proverbial nutshell, gettin weed to grow with any margin of success duz involve -> preparation and i don't think u were quite prepared...altho i certainly do give u an e for effort yes, it can be frustrating & downright maddening when thingz don't go right, but it'z all about the learning, which u do seem eager to do, so let'z see what'z what here.

in me own totally non-professional opinion, me thinkz the root (no pun intended) of the issue(z) lie in the soil, possible overwatering, poor drainage, and yes, good ol' ph...a lack of good light may also be at play here, altho little onez don't require a lot in their first dayz & it may jus be a matter of the lightz bein too far away it may also be well possible that the solo cupz are culprit, meaning they've become rootbound & that'z why they're not growin anymore...and yes, the tempz aren't high enuff, as otherz have already said

as prophetiko said, growin weed duz require a few basic toolz, chiefly in this case bein a good ph pen uzin tapwater is fine...hell, i do meself...but, u gotta know what the ph of it is, first & foremost...and equally important is letting it stand for at least 24 hrz before uzing, so as to vanquish all the chlorine/chloramine & other shit that'z put in it at the treatment plant...what i do is aerate it, by meanz of a cheap lil air pump & a couple air stonez

I had a look and this would be a good step up for you with minimal cost and minimal running costs and will basically tripple your growth/ buds if used in conjunction with your other 2 lamps .. its a good starting point.. I will have a look at some other simple upgrades for you to get you on the right track for minimal $$ in a do it yourself type scenario to get you on your way

yep I said the same thing but not knowing budget or import rules etc its always good to have options... the floodlight dosent scream dope grower when it turns up at your house which is an issue in some places and notsomuch in others

FWIW, the 3 lights I bought from them came without any markings to indicate what was in them.

I havent read the comments so I'm sorry if this has been said and figured out...

For starters putting aeration at the bottom under the medium only really helps with keeping the roots out of water and some air pruning due to the aeration drying faster when it's not mixed with soil and just at the bottom of the pot..

You need minimum 30% aeration mixed into the soil.

Seeds shouldnt be planted into soil with compost nutrients unless it is a home made well cycled organic mix and even still they are usually too hot.

Simply peat lots of aeration and lime for 2-3 weeks is all a seedling needs

I was wrong but I was thinking that growing weed is more easy like growing other kind of plant like the older generation was growing weed (just in sunny place)
