Does not include taxes. No shipping costs since I have Amazon Prime.
Most of this is an investment since I will be using this equipment for the next few years.
I wonder if the IRS will let me depreciate the costs over the next 5 years? : )
It was a bit of sticker shock when i first added it all up.
I could have gone cheaper on the fan, filter, etc but I wanted to go ahead and get stuff that will allow me to do a bigger grow in the future. The fan is 530 cfm, the filter is 550 cfm, and the fan controller doesn't get warm at all running the fan at 10%-20% ( I only have a 4 ft x 4 ft x 6ft tent).

Yup, I was at around $1200 by the time I started my second grow.

Although, I haven't had to add a lot to that list since and am now on
grows #9, #10 and #11

Maybe another $500 including medium, water, nute inventory, jars,
bovedas, etc. (Stuff for keeping/storing buds, not growing them)

I've probably spent around $1800 including a complete tent package with scrubber and led, 3 more MarsHydro leds :), nutes, soils, pots, seeds and misc. All I would have to get is 6 ounces and even with my scrawny first grow.....I may just get that! I'm happy!

I spent about $1,300 on gear, seeds and Nutes. Electricity was about $700. But I didn't spend around $1,200-$1,600 buying weed. So I'm guessing it's break even in year one. I've got around a years worth of seeds left to grow. So if nothing major breaks it's all well worth it.

You won't be able to deduct your expenses on Fed Taxes. Only in your state if it's legal there. [emoji18]

i'll guess $1200-$1500 but really don't think about it much. after 9 months growing all I know for sure is that for some reason I have more $ and plenty of top shelf bud. it pays off in the long run. all I have to buy now is upgrades if I wish and replacements when there is an equipment failure and consumables like soil, nutes etc.

This year I have spent 8000 off
