Grow Mediums HM Tries Kind Soil

soil with Kind Soil at the base grow? oyster powder shoulda been added ideally prior to potting up the soil. but if its Kind Soil and flower is about to hit it could have a host of issues potentially. well from my dealings anyways, but you could top coat with oyster powder with a soild flower boosted soil. like if you have any used soil, add some bloom granules and some other foods and things including compost of WP's. you need to push the life addition and the flower foods. Molasses would be fine. bone meal with the soil top coatingf. all sorta of things to do. ya need to gimme a little more info on which your planning to do. which route ya going?! Thanks bro. looking great though!!

eyes, thanks for the help. i started giving blackstrap 1 1/2 tsp per gallon of rain water, monitoring the symptoms. i am getting a general yellowing, so pretty sure i need some macro elements to become available somewhere. ihave another 5 lbs of ks left, can i use this to make a tea?

might have give that a try. things seem to improving since i added the blackstrap molassis. the ca problems seem to be slowing. the leaves that were initially showing def continue to degrade, but i don't see any new leaves showing ca def. the yellowing has stopped, and looks like it's darkening back up. i added AN VooDoo and Piranha with the blackstrap. both are soil microbe and fungi sups in a liquid solution. i think that may revived the herd some and broke down some macros. i can't take them out of the tent because they are too large and have somewhat grown intertwined. today is day 61. things seem a little behind budding wise, but are starting to fatten. thinking this grow will run around 80-85 days. again, i apologize for the shitty typing. still only able to hunt and peck with my left hand. rnning mouse left handed is a learning experience also.

here are pics - day 61

Discovered the Blumat dripper on the WOS NLXBB plugged up and I did not detect it until she was beginning to wilt on the bottom. I assume this probably raised havoc with the herd. I assume the molassis had something to do with the plugged dripper. I felt like this grow was spirling out of control, so I took what I am sure many will consider drastic measures. I mixed up my normal 2 ml/L AN Bloom base nutes included GH CaliMagic at 2 ml/L, AN Big Bud at 2 ml/L, and AN B52 at 1 ml/L. I added 2 ml/L each of the soil microbes AN VooDoo and Piranha. pH of the mix was natural 6.1, so left everything as is and added to the reservoir. Not going to be 100% organic like I first planned, but feel my grow was in jeopardy.

Things are looking better today. The girls had their arms up praying to the ganja gods this AM. I think the nute boost was well in order. I pulled several leave that were beyond doing anything for the plant. At least they don't look quite so bad with the dead leaves gone. The AU has taken things way better than the NLXBB and is fattening her buds. The NLXBB kind of seems to be at a stand still, but hoping for a resurgance as things get better in the nute department.

OK, I have come to the conclusion that my girls are coming to the end of their natural life. The fan leaves are yellowing quite quickly and my soil pH via Accurate 8 is 6.3 and 6.8, so not locked out. Considering they are now 67 days old, they just did not bud out worth shit. I am sure they will swell a litttle yet in these last couple weeks, but overall I am very disappointed in the size of the buds. It also seems that these girls really over-stretched for some reason. I don't know if the KS had any thing to do with it, but I have grown both of these strains before under the same lights and never got over-stretched? Maybe phenotype differance. I'm hoping the quality will somewhat make up for lack of quantity.

yeah Im truly sorry brother man, that flower lacking has hit me hard too. any pics ,man?! ugh I know how you feel too man. to see a large heavy vegged plant and nadda for fruit.especially how much sometimes we work to get some fruits damnit LOL! here's to ya bro! Cheers:D

Would the nectar of the gods line of nutes work to supplement the soil and keep it organic?

uhhh, hmmm, to be honest Im not sure. and in all honesty for MY own personal thinking on organics I would say no. BUT,if added lime was used to help potentially buffer it(unsure how those work) the soil and feedings. but in total honesty I would just use a separate mix or amend it with other stuffs and materails for flower and it'll do fine. hell you could even add some more veg green to them and brighten that color lack up too while your at it. LOL! most always (especially the larger ones) the leaves were lacking in the bright and darker green elements so that you could improve on either way most likely. I would use MORE organic and natural product than anything in a bottle but yes it would help to answer your question. just not sure how stable to soil would stay to help a stable and working PH.
