Grow Mediums HM Tries Kind Soil

Day 35

Long overdue update. I have given only water delivered via the Blumats. Had to add a couple gallons of rain water to the reservoir, thats it. I have done alot of training on the (NLXBB)XAU. I have removed six big fan leaves coming out of the main stalk and have topped her into two mains. I did a little ponytailing and bending and pulling of the branches. I know that this strain is a beast to slow down once she gets going. Last one I grew stretched till over 50 days old and I had supercrop the main and several side branches just to keep her inside my tent. This one is shaping up very nicely and I think she is going to be a good yielder. She is 14" tall and very bushy.

The WOS NLXBB that at one time I was going to pull is now 12" tall and starting to grow very normally. It looks as though it is going to be well worth keeping her. She is naturally branching out very nicely, which is a trait of this strain.

This KS is really impressing me. If things finish as nice as thing have gone up to now, this may be my permanent grow method.

And of course some bud porn. This is my Dr Krippling Incredible Bulk Auto. Hanging and waiting for the jars.

Nice looking frost on those buds!!! Looking good!

How are you liking the Blumat's? Makes it almost literally just sitting around watching the grass, grow, 'eh? :smoking:

The Blumats are fricking fantastic!! I check once in awhile that they are still dripping and keep adding water to the res, that's it.:kitty::smiley1:

Day 39

Starting to get some red petiols on the older fan leaves. The WOS NLXBB is a little more than tha AU cross. Hope this is not the beginning of the end for how much nutes KS can provide. Not too worried yet, just wanted to take note of for now. Still stretching but starting to form into actual buds now, so stretch is about over. The two together are drinking 2 quarts per day, so I have things in high gear. Just need a great finish. I will be doing maintenance later today and will get pics. Peace.

Update: Day 40

This whole KS grow has impressed me more than I can express. I have given only rain water so far and the KS has furnished everything they have needed up to now.

The WOS NLXBB that at one time I was ready to pull, but thanks to my wife insisting that I let her live, she has responded amazingly and has caught up to the AU cross in height. She is naturally forming into a nice flat canopy which is typical of this strain. She is not very thick, but the buds should be big with the increased light penetration. She is still stretching over an inch a day. Judging by the bud formation, I expect her to slow down soon.

I have both plants hooked up to the same Blumat system res, and both together are drinking just under a gallon per day.

The (NLXBB)XAU has grown into a very thick, dense plant. I have trimmed 10-12 big fan leaves, ponytailed, pulled down side branches, and topped the main into two. She never slowed down once through the whole torturing. I am very familiar with this strain and knew that she could take the abuse, or I would never had defoliated or cropped. She has the potential to be a half pounder if the KS holds out. Thinking about ordering a GO Box to have on hand in case I need to sup.

The Blumats are a dream come true. So far they have performed flawlessly. Very nice system.

Harvested my COC Cash Crop. She is very potent. Yielded 215 grams dried to 62 percent, a little over 7 oz. Me very happy.

Hoping this grow finishes as nicely as she started. Thanks for watching. Peace out.

Thanks for the thread, H.M. A lot of the threads in the Kind Soil area are a bit...odd, which always makes me nervous when considering a new product. You pushed me over the edge; I'll be here next grow...
Thanks BR549. I was a little "OK I'll try this", but my previous method of AN nutes in Promix has absolutly nothing of this KS grow. No mixing, diluting, pHing, no waste of water and nutes with drain to waist systems. I have another 5 lbs of KS that I plan on using on my next grow. Hope it keeps until that long, but that will be another part of my KS experiment. Thanks to tagging along. Cheers to a great ending.:coffee:

The WOS NLXBB stretched 3 full inches last night. I have about run out of head room in my tent, so I pulled the main over to horizontal. Hoping this modified "supercropping" will help keep her under control. The AU cross is still stretching about 1 inch ;per day, but is on the slow down.
