Congrats HM! I'm subbed in to see what you can do on your first organic grow!! Good luck, although I know you will nail it with that perfect rain water you got there!!

Pete, long time my friend. How is that boy of yours? Must be about a year old by now. Been following your adventures, you have come a long way since the THC Bomb grow. LOL Have you ever grown out another one of those? I am going to order a few more on my next seed order. Great strain, that for sure. This KS just seemed too good to be true, so I had to give it a try. I also want to experience what I know for sure is organic grown meds. I'm also real keen on giving these Bluemats a go. I like the working principle with the actual drying and wetting of the soil turning them on and off. I've got big hopes for this KS, I'm hoping I can grow a girl that will give a large yield. It's my understanding that with organics a 3-4 oz dry is considered a big yield. I'm throwing in some big girl genetics with this grow, if the KS holds up, this could be a lazy guy like me dream system. LOL Thanks for subbing up. Most definatly chime in often.

Little guy is doing great! Thanks for asking, he will be 8 months at the end of the month, probably the coolest person I know! Love him to death!
I have not had a chance to revisit the THC bomb yet but it is on my list of things to do real soon! I'd love to run that same strain and 4 put set up in the same tent. Only difference would be the lights and the nutrients, but I think I could match weight and demolish the quality i got the first time now. It's been a quick passing year of growing and I feel like I've learned tons so fast! I've never been so into something in my whole life honestly, it's great!
And I'm glad to see you stepping out of your comfort zone! There's nothing better than perfected organically grown bud. I got some grape crinkle I grew with nectar for the gods bottled organics and even though I messed up and got a small yield it was some killer smoke. Wish I could mail organics better!!! Love the clean smooth fresh taste!! I'll definitely b here for the whole run and chiming in! Thanks for having me and glad to see you again!

The World of Seeds NLXBB emerged from the soil last night, so I am calling 9/15 as day one for both girls. Tracking says my Blumats are waiting at the Post Office. Going to get them rigged up this weedend.

Well, not too much to update. I never got the Blumats done over the weekend because I took my daughter to the hospital to deliver her baby. It's a healthy girl, 6 lbs 2 oz, and I'm a proud grandpa for the second time in 2 months!! Anyway, I've watered a couple times with very small amounts of the rainwater, only watering the plug. Today I gave a full watering of the whole pot in preperation of installing the Blumats. Today is Day 5, here are some baby pictures.

Blumats are installed. Could not have been easier. Don't really know what to do to dial it in, but as long as I am not getting runoff, I think I should be good.

... I can't wait to try my KS smoke too! I do have a couple side-show auto's in 2gal pot, Stones AmnesiaStone99 and Himalayan Orange Diesel which will be done soon...the aromatics are superb already! So I think we are in for a treat ... meantime, the photo girls are chuggin' along, but there will be some changes, likely have to DQ out of the test.... too much plant in too small of pots, not an fault of KS, just how they ended up against expectations,......updating tonight....
.... That IB is shaping up to be another one of your fine-ass booshes! How are you training her? You always end up with very good symmetry and even canopy tops

Thanks, Waira!! New babies are truely an amazing gift. Did not want my little girls to grow up this quick, but nothing I can do to stop it. LOL

I am a little concerned that the KS might not hang in there long enough for the AU cross. Will be doing some research on teas and the like, just in case.

I actually fimmed this IB. I think that it delayed my girl a good two weeks. It did make into 5 tops, but not worth the slow down at such a critical growth stage. I also LSTed her by ponytailing when very young, and bending the top down for half a day in a different direction each day until I had bent her each direction twice. This works very well for me. You have to have big girl genetics first though.

Are you planning on amending the water with any nutrients from time to time or just water?
