Indoor High Temps ... NLBB & Bubblelicious ....

11 days old ...

This grow is in an empty house in the deep south ... used the same house last year w/ highs topping out about 90* ... may have only used 100 watts vs. this year's 220 watts ... I visit this grow every 4 days .... 1 WOS NLBB and 1 Nirvana Bubblelicious ... my Hi/Low thermometer says that over the last 11 days my highs have been 97* & 98* ... fed both 1/2 Nirvana Soil Tab at 4 days ... may not feed the second half ... feeding water ph'd to 6.3 amended w/ Wet Betty, Silica Blast, CalMag ... I'm using 4 gal round nursery pots ... I expect the extra capacity will help keep them hydrated w/o drowning them ... so far I'm very satisfied w/ the results .... started w/ lights on 24/7 dropped them to 20/4 and am now trying 18/6 ...

Deep South eh? Sounds like we're neighbors. The heat struggle is real but we got this! They look great!

Two weeks ... Hi temp ... 93* / Low temp 85*

Fed both w/ CalMag - Silica Blast and Wet Betty ... looks like the 1/2 soil tab is taking care of their fertilizer needs ... I will probably feed a full Flower tab each in about 2 weeks ... may feed once w/ late veg formula prior to the Flower Tab .... High temps were down considerably from the visit before so the change to 18/6 may have helped ... I relocated the grow to another space in the house in hopes of bringing the temps down further ... Both plants showing minor signs of heat stress ... currently the temps run between 85* and 93* at all times ... I expect heat to be a factor in this grow ...

That's it exactly ... I do it w/ most all my plants ... beats FIM or Topping and serves the same purpose ... takes about 8-12 hrs of lifted leaves over 2-3 days to make a big difference in the shape of the plant ...

I might just try that on my next grow, sounds like a no stress type of thing! Giving leaf tucking a slap at the same time!

Day 18 ... High 97.3* / Low 87* Lights ... 18/6 ....

So far they are doing well considering the heat ... Fed w/ water ph'd to 6.0 amended w/ CalMag; Silica Blast; Wet Betty ... added 3/4 tsp of bone meal by top dressing each pot ... really like the 4 gal pot ... Lifted the leaves for the second time today for about 5 hrs ... it's a lot more effective if you do it every day for a couple days but I can see the effects ...

Looking good! ...I am growing the Nirvana bubblelicuous as well. Looks like we started at the same time. It will be great growing with you again this summer.

One question. ..should I start the cal mag since I am using led lights? I've only given one small feeding of roots organic nutes so far.
