Indoor High Temps ... NLBB & Bubblelicious ....

Day 21 .... High Temperature 96.3* / Lights 18/6 16" above canopy

Showing minor signs of heat stress but doing well just the same .... When I arrived at the grow this morning there were no visible signs of sex ... six hours later they were flashing their knickers for all to see ... Watered w/ CalMag+/Silica Blast/ Wet Betty ... a little molasses and Epsom salts ... unless the heat retards their flowering they should be ready for a flower tab in about a week ...

Day 25 ... Temps ... 96.3*/ 85.2* Lights 18/6

Full 3 weeks since 1/2 Soil tab was inserted into each plant ... minor evidence of phosphorous deficiency so I watered w/ Grow More Sea Grow 4-26-26 at 1/4 strength along w/ Wet Betty, CalMag, and Silica Blast ph'd to 6.2 .... Both plants are flowering ... will insert Flower tabs soon. Both plants are doing very well ... if the heat ever breaks I may switch to a much bigger light but as it is they each are under approx. 100 watts of LED ... total of 200+ watts seems to be doing the job quite well ... considering using the other light on a 2 hrs on 1/2 hr off schedule for heat control .... any input on such a schedule would be appreciated ... so far the Bubblelicious, which started off small is the bigger of the two plants ... I put several LST wires on each and will probably leave them on for the rest of the grow ...

Had to come back and take another look tonight after working on my plants. I don't think mine look quite as good as yours. I'm having the same issue I had last time...a few leaves yellowing and dying. I removed them and carry on...like I did last time, still got very good smokables and thats what its all about!!! I wish i could grow in the larger pots. It does seem to make a size difference for sure. Love watching your grow!

I use Lamberts Organic Potting soil as a base ...
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Lambert-50-qt-Potting-Mix-437952/202529193

I use up to 33% Perlite .... most of my soil has been used a couple times by mixing w/ an equal amount of new soil ...

These plants are having an exceptional start ... I'm surprised they are still alive due to the heat yet they are thriving .... I really think the 4 gal pot has a lot to do w/ it ...

Thanks. I really think I may change soil eventually. Not in this grow of course, but the next. Your plants always look so good, seems you have found that winning combination!

I also think after my current plants finish up I will do a single in a larger container. The way the 1 gal. use water I might should have stuck with standard pots. I have a 3 gal airpots and was originally going to do just one in that but I got greedy thinking 2 smaller pots would give a larger yield. Probably not a correct assumption. ..but then again if something goes wrong with one plant, might be able to salvage number 2. Too much to think about!

My plants generally look good up until week 5 when deficiencies start to take over ... 1 good plant can produce more than 2 smaller ones but when you're starting out you have to play the numbers game ... that's one reason I like to stay well ahead of my need for weed ... so I can do a single plant grow and not be short if it doesn't do well ... this grow should have been a single plant but I got greedy ... probably pay for it w/ small airy buds in the end ... I've been wanting to start a grow in a 1 gal air pot and then about week three plant it, pot and all, into a 3 or 4 gal plastic pot ... if you check the grow in my signature you'll see where I put 3 gal airpots into 4 gal pots to reduce the need for watering and I think it increased the yield ...
