Indoor High Temps ... NLBB & Bubblelicious ....

Well, it looks like your ladies are doing just fine in spite of the heat. Mother Nature finally smiled upon my neck of the woods, and in one single day the temps have thankfully dropped by 25 degrees! I'll keep my fingers crossed that she smiles upon you too! This summer has just about changed my mind on global warming...

...

Those temperatures will make a real difference in your grow autokukkaa ... wish I could have those temps during flower ...
Im pretty sure that i solved temps for good now. and i will improve intake in next month so i get air direct from outside.

I live in texas we have had a very wet and unusually cool summer,if its under 100 thats a good day.We just got out of our drought in may,the single wettest month ever recorded,Can we get an amen brothers and sisters.Peace

It often gets up to 114F in my room, and they keep growing, though some leaf tip burn. I put my HPS on 50% power (nice option to have) and added an LCD (light, but less heat), which helps to keep it below 100F (my goal).

That is amazing and great info Bart ... I thought 98* was pushing it but if they'll handle temps up to 114* I'm going to stop worrying ... what's the highest temps you've flowered in and did they come out OK ... ?

I water them every 3-4 days ... Currently 1/2 gal of water ... that's one reason for the 4 gal pots ... they hold at least an extra days worth of water ... Since these look like they are going to be big girls I may find that I need to visit more often once they are fully in bloom (see early part of signature grow) ... I used a little too much perlite for these pots to hold as much water as I would like them to ... one of the reasons they started so fast was the high percentage of perlite in my soil ... looser soil allows for faster root growth and faster root growth makes bigger healthier tops ...

My goal w/ tomorrow's visit is to slowly soak the entire pot w/ a weak solution of Wet Betty, Cal Mag and 1/4 strength Sea Grow ... any organic flower nutes would do. This water will be ph'd to 5.8-6.2 ... I'll slowly saturate the pots trying to get as much water into them as possible w/ minimal runoff ... I'm not concerned w/ flushing at this point, just want to get all the soil wet ... then I will break a Flower tab in half and place the halves into two small holes I'll dig in the pot ... marking the spots ... then I will water each half in w/ about 1/2 cup of the same mix.

A little Bud porn to keep this thread interesting ...
