:jointman: ...OK mate, more orchid pics! Once again, the Aussie species Dendrobium speciosum, blooming right on cue,... they had an odd season, started growing very late, like Nov.-..not sure why so late, they are nearly ready for dormancy treatment by then,... but I let them do their thing regardless, and the new growth finished okay, and old canes bloomed nicely,....

Now last grow -- smoke report -- Flavour was spot on , the berry flavour was there and lingered in the mouth , very clean and maybe a bit of pine in it , for want of a better words clean and fresh . The high [ for me ] strong but more of a day smoke . Great for working in the garden , but I still lose my beer  I am starting to really like the strains from non main stream breeders , Next I will be doing C99a x (OA x bt x bbg) I was going to do a photo run inside , but I want to see what the C99 does to the mix . I will do some photos at home , The others are going to a mates place to grow out as they will get heaps more sun , we will be putting them in the ground when this cyclone weather buggers off . :smoking::thumbsup:

Ps I am doing a bit of home work on breeding , never thought I would :nono:

:pighug: Thank you mate, I know how you enjoy these gems! The Laelia's are spiking up, canariensis is almost open,... Oh, I forgot pics of something very amusing, kiki's of den kingianum I stuck into the White Trumpet Pitcher pot over a year ago, on a total lark, no further care either way... I figured by Winter they'd rot out because they ar supposed to have cool dry dormancy for good bloom setting later-- :confused1: nope! They grew nicely, new bulbs all around, and made it through Winter without a blink,... now are flowering better than most that get the usual treatment! :haha:....pics tomorrow! it's a total gas to me...

Your mini green house is perfect for so many species, I can't wait to see which ones you have collected-- and those I've not seen in bloom yet,....
I've been admiring the Dessert roses for months, you have done beautifully with them Hec', they are dancing to your beat just like the canna-chicks have been- :dancer: ... i didn't know they came in such color diversity, I saw only a few only earlier,.. red and black sounds fantastic! .... That chopped one is cool as all get-out mate,... explain "chopped" more please-... training is making some surreal shapes and curves, along with that crazy stump trunk, they look otherworldly....:goauto:

:vibe: Paw-Paw is a booosh now- ---topped? Foliage has gone riot! :greenthumb: so so cool those leaves,... something interestingly primal about them,... Wow, lookee them new roots busting out! :d5: trunk is getting girthy too,... outstanding Hec! ...pass me a 'nanner would ya?

:drool:I'd drool more, but you didn't provide dry porn= :cuss:... aromatics and flavor sound on-point mate, have you whistled up @tobe yet? Something to that berry terp's chemistry,.. MoB is a vice easy-dreamy high, active but relaxing,.. spacey,.. so is the Mob/OGK x C99a F1 Stick made,... reminds me, try running that C99a alone too,... might be what's in this new cross! Photo's, I need to PM you about that,... You gotta get that Psicodelicia in the mix too, you will adore her I promise! :headbang:

:cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss: @Waira yet again you but me on the spot . :nono:

and no Mob/OGK x C99a F1 I do not have , it is a Tobe and another one of his mates inputs [ C99 ] but in saying that they are all mates and share genetics ,
I did a slow dry here , 8 days 50% humidity at temp 22c , just another part I have to refine .

:crying: :rolleyes1: no pressure mate! :thanks:...buds look juicy Hec', very hairy chicks too :vibe:.....

MOGK99 is wonderful stuff, but no that wasn't sent,... both grown here were curve throwers; both appeared to have auto'ed, showed sex by week 3, and went right into bloom =..supposedly not possible at F1, but that's clearly suspect now, I have confirmation from other sources of this rare event in other F1 crosses. So, whatever the genetic mechanism is behind the "auto" phenomena, it's not a simple double recessive inheritance deal?.... Another oddity, both did not bloom especially fast, that really tripped me out!
... your drying times, T and RH% are just like mine.... I think that first few days or so is the key, enough moisture in them still to allow those breakdowns to happen properly.. too fast and it locks those processes down, making for lesser quality' smoke!

Oky Dokey here we are at, day 28 @tobe . I sure am loving these plants , at this stage they have been very easy to grow , its like they are on automatic . Mostly they have been living off the soil , they have had 2 teas and a bit of added nutrients , not much , I will be making another tea for them on Wednesday . I am thinking that all the parts are starting to come together . The co2 I believe is also working , as my room is no way air tight I had to adjust it a fair pit . I think it will be one of those things that will be on going --- as in outside temps affecting the rate the yeast works , amount of bubbles --- Also @Eyes on Fire
The -- Insect Frass -- This is another input that I will now always have -- Thank You -- @Waira The Mango Loas will be going outside this week , the rain is slowing up - First 3 months we have had 1.6 meters - Will make for a good veggie growing season . With the Desert rose , --- chopping -- Cut the plant stem as it raises from the fat bulb part and it will branch , you can also chop the branches , the aim is to get more branches to gain more flowers . easy .
Same with the Paw Paw , Chop stem .
