Indoor Growing Scrog

I think yall are gonna do great! The super cropping is def the scariest looking part lol. Make sure your air flow is point, if you succeed you will have a super dense forest of colas!!! Cant wait to seehow your plants turn out!!
Thanks! I appreciate that, KingRatt ☺️. Lots to be learnt with 420's method and I'm here for it! :d5:

Heres my Lemon Z photperiod scrog going right now, looking alright huh @420autoflower ??? Its stil not hydro, but i should do okay in this little 2x2. 😁 anything you see im missing? I got some lower stuff i need to chop out, but im waiting a little bit because they are almost at the canopy level, or should i just chop it out and take care of what i have going above the net already?

edit: i will probably add another fan soon, opposite corner of the one thats already there

Can verify zazzy tents are decent. Mine's a couple years old and still holding strong :woohoo1:

Thanks for the input @JP1!
Good to know they hold up well. I bought a Zazzy 3x3’ about a year ago and no problems so far. 🤞

wow !! just found your picture journal -- a bit of work ; hey ? !! perfect looking scrog ( I scrog but I do it by removing fans at specific time during week 1-2-3) anyway good yields a-head of you
Thank you Brother! 🙏

How am I looking guys? I've got all my "eggs" in this one basket..
Day 17: Strawberry Clouds Auto. (Blowout Genetics).
Week 3: Green Planet Dual Fuel Professional Feeding Program (Dual Fuel 1+2, Plant Guard, Vitathrive) @ pH 6.0, EC 1.8. (900ppm).
Humidity: 45-55 RH.
Temp: 23 - 26 Degrees C. (73 - 79f).
Light: 260 Watt S33 Ionboard Full Spectrum LED Grow Light 91.5 x 91.5cm Coverage @ 45cm (18 inches) Distance, 650PPFD, 24hrs, 56DLI.
Comments: Currently Hand watering @ a 6% shot size of the total rockwool volume (5.8Litres), of 350ml 3 times a day to achieve run off each fertigation event. Is this ok?. I'm getting geared up to start automated irrigation.. any tips or advice?

This is my fifth grow ever (All auto's), my first time emulating your 420Autoflower SCROG method, 420:biggrin:, and my first time growing in Rockwool. You got me hooked and itching to give it a go and so far I'm loving it! Your previous grows are mind blowing!🤯. How are your current girls coming along? Cheers 420 and everyone here for your advice and insight.
:thanks:🙏

Off to a great start my friend! So nice to see other people getting into the 420 method. Impressive looking setup you got there, I’ve never seen that type of flood tray before but it sure looks mighty fancy.

Been really busy lately getting all my plants set up and not quite ready to unveil them yet but I’ll post some update pics for you in the next couple days. Got a little carried away when I was germinating and ended up with a little too much to handle myself. Would be great to have an apprentice or some gromies help me with all the tedious work but unfortunately I don’t. :nono:

Lookin' good Tristan! Will be interesting to see how us 420-method first-timers net out. 🙂 Day 25, 500ppm, 6 pH, 500 ppfd, 45 dli. Tucking, pinning, and also removing large fan leaves where necessary, to expose new branches to light. My main stem is already a monster, more than a fat pencil thick at the top. Massaging it into submission daily, to keep it close to horizontal.

Looking like it should Bro! 😎
I like how everyone’s got a different version of their own DIY drip systems. Makes everything much more interesting compared to seeing people using the same production units like Autopots. After running hydro for many years I think top fed drip is honestly the best way to grow autos hydroponically.

Thanks Mongoose! That main stem is looking super healthy, well done! . You've definitely found the right combination of light intensity, training technique, proper nutrition, wind and watering with these girls. Curious, have you ran this strain/genetics before? Your too right about that mate, I'm big time stressing about having to take pliers to this one plant I've been babying for a couple weeks now😅
Lol… 😂
The HST is a bit intimidating but it gets easier and easier every time. Just do it with a little TLC and you won’t have any problems.

Me too King! Can’t wait to see how all the new scrogs develop.

Thanks yet again for your help 420.

Day 23
Nutrient switched to GH FloraNova Grow. 500ppm. pH 6.
Will gradually up nutrient to 750ppm over the next few days.
Large fan leaves tucked under new stems.

You’re very welcome @Mongoose!
She looks great. Should be a little bush by now.
It’s ok to bump your EC up to 1.3 if you haven’t already.

@Lil Dab! Thanks for the points!
Much appreciated buddy! :d5:

Hopefully there will be a little army of 420method scroggers! It was only a matter of time until it caught on, im mean, who doesnt want scale crushing yields!

Nice Bro!
You got a packed tent there!
Just keep exposing those bud/cola sights and you should be good to go.
Have you considered a hand fed water to runoff coco/perlite grow for your next run? You basically have everything you need for it already.

I was planning on a coco run soon, probably next run! I know ill need to feed more but i think i can figure it out😁

Many advantages to running hydro.
Extended veg/preflower time and vigorous growth are a couple of them.
I like the speed of soil, so will continue that as well, ill probably be running both😁👍 one tent pumping out quik smol strains and the other scrogging monsters in hydro!🤩 thats the plan anyway.

Couple of close-up photo follow-ups to show off the aggressive knuckling and HST bends, I feel like it went really well! Didn't end up breaking or tearing off any branches, my bends didn't snap the stem open anywhere. Took about 15 minutes total!

My plan is to let them grow horizontally for almost a month while my flower tent finishes out and empties out. Around new years I'll be moving these ladies from a 2x4 tent to their final home 5x5 tent, I'll probably continue scrogging for 1-4 more weeks in their new home before flipping them to flower.

I'm hoping the timing ends up working out, I'm sure it'll be a big hassle to move these to a bigger tent and rescrog in a few weeks. Might take some clones in a week or two as a way to slow/cull progress :cools:
Hey all!

Just wanted to post a followup and show off how nicely these ladies have recovered and scrogged out. I'm tucking branches every day, the left one (Blueberry Bang Bang) seems to love it and is becoming a nice little bush of it's own volition, the right one (Gyat) is being a little more difficult with an abnormally thick main stem.
The trick for using pliers for supercropping is an awesome recommendation! No chance I would have been able to manipulate the Gyat main stem without breaking out the power tools lol.

Thanks again @420autoflower, I don't think I'd ever have gotten such a nice and low canopy if it weren't for all of the information you've posted!
