You can stop tucking and weaving after your preflower stretch.
Please post updated canopy pics when you get a chance.
So, I do stop tucking and weaving when they basically don't stretch anymore? I'm wondering, because, your results are showing kind of big/tall buds/colas.
Or do they still stack up / grow taller aswell naturally even if the stretch is almost done?
Is there not a point during stretch, where I have to stop tucking and weaving and let them grow tall / stretch vertically a little bit? To get taller colas (and more yield)?
Sorry, this is my third grow total and first one on hydro. So I'm not really super experienced. But try my best to learn as much as possible.
Here are some follow up pictures from today.
Some more data first:
- Today we have Day 43 since germination.
- Growing different strains.
- Glue berry, Daiquiri Lime, Critical Orange Punch
- First pre-flower pistils shown on day 28. (first plant. the other 2 plants showed those 1-2 days later)
- Flattend out on day 37
- Since flatting out, I tuck and weave once a day. To keep (main) tops down.
- Here and there I remove some leaves to keep very dense foliage clusters under control
- Also, to expose smaller nodes / tops.
All of them are still stretching.
But as you see in the pictures below, at least one plant has significant flower-production already. I'm worrying how much longer they still will stretch. I hope I got some more time of stretching to grow these ladys taller.
Today before tucking and weaving
Today right after minor defoil to expose some nodes. (you see the difference especially on the below right plant)
And after keeping tops down etc.
One plant is still in very earrly flowering process
Second plant a little further regarding flowering
Third plant. Flowers already more mature. Hopyfully they will still stretch more I guess.
