Indoor Growing Scrog

As usual i am at a loss for deserved superlatives.... Goddamn!

Dutch passion should be using your pics on their website under a separate heading on each seed page "Maximal Potential harvests" or " Harvests of the Gods" something of that nature, :worship:
Thank you so much Brother.
All the hard work is worth it when a fellow scrogger like yourself appreciates and respects what it takes to get a plant like this across the finish line.

Still smashin out monsters m8.. truly unbelievable stuff.. if you kept all your weed you'd have to rent a warehouse to store it :crying::pighug: awesome skills bro.

Awesome Brother… looks like you got it all figured out. I was going to put an extra brace around my frames like you have in your design but felt they didn’t need it. Well, I was wrong and will be wrapping an extra piece of wood around all of them next season. I did get 2 crops over the Summer and they’re still holding up but they definitely could use some extra support.
Good you’re planning on going with photos bro, with the extra veg time you’ll be able to work the plant longer and fill in your canopies better. 2x2’ frames should be enough space and you can always install canopy extenders like I did with my big Coastal Mary LSD if they grow out of them.
Will you be growing your plants in soil? Might be the best way to go if you’re not planning on using some type of reservoir. Tapping into your existing irrigation and running 1/4 lines over to your plants would be much easier than dealing with nutes and a reservoir. You would have to amend your soil every couple weeks but that’s not a big deal and only takes a few minutes.
How are the caterpillars in your neck of the woods? Aphids and the cannabis eating caterpillars have been my biggest problems growing outdoors.
Weve got caterpillars and aphids but when im vigilant with preventative measures they arent a real problem, but i have to be vigilant, neem/bronners foliar every 2-3 weeks until flower, nematodes, diatomaceous earth, all have to be there to be safe, but i find it working great even in the heights pf summer when the pest are the worst. I also plan on adding ladybugs to the garden when the photos start and replenishing them monthly. That should keep me safe whth minimal loss. I probably lost a quarter ounce in my last putdoor plant due to poor planning.

Thank you Brother. :d5:

Thanks Buddy
Yes, got way too much weed sitting around here but I guess that’s a good problem to have.
Nice to see you back again my friend.

Massive! :growing:

It seems the first Auto Creeper has some purple hints in the flowers, is that right?

Looking good though, as always!:joy:
Yes Bro, the taller pheno has some purple undertones.
Really happy with the terps and frost level both the Creepers produced. Not the biggest plants but the weed definitely looks and smells top shelf. Can’t wait to sample some of it.
:thanks:

Yeah Bro… the bugs around here love weed. :nono:Battled aphids and caterpillars all summer and that’s after a lot of preventative measures. I was spraying BT Thuriside a couple times a week and still lost a fair amount of bud to the caterpillars.
Glad I didn’t have any spider mite problems though. I can deal with just about any pests without a problem but spider mites can easily take over a plant and do some real damage

Thank you Brother. :d5:

I dont spray BT more than once every couple weeks unless there is a heavy rain right after application, i find that if its applied before a problem, the problem never really starts, and i always pick any bugs i can off the plant and dispose of it if its not a friend. I even have special tweezers lol! I actually had the biggest problems with scale last grow. They are easy enough to get rid of but are damn near invisible until they are adults. I also spray neem/bronners every couple weeks on and around the girls and ohtside of the pots too, inoculate with nematodes around week 3-4 since that seems to be the timeframe i have witnessed for crawlies to start hatching from soil if it came dirty(which hopefully isnt the case, but weve all seen otherwise lol). I also think its just the perfect time for autos, just makes sense to me. I also dust the soil around the pots and perimeter of the grow with DE and sometimes cayenne pepper if there is evidence of mammals like cats, possums, mice, coyotes, rabbits etc. there is still evidence of something nibbling on random leaves at overnight but its so minor i dont think the plants care much, i know i dont haha. My plants are almost 7 weeks from sprout. Thinking another4-5 weeks and at this point, they def wont be getting sprayed anymore, so from here on out im looking at manual removal and DE as my only weapons against bullshit 😂 i also dont seem to have as many problems when my plants are thriving. Im extremely lucky so far, this is my first time growing autos and my outdoor plants are doing so much better than my indoor plants!I know where i screwed up, my RH was in the mid to low 30s for the first 3-4 weeks while i was trying to get the new tent dialed in 😬 They definitely suffered and im paying for it now but at least i know the why and have fixed the problem!😁. Anyway, hope i didnt put you to sleep, take care and have a rad day! Ill keep you posted on the next round, and i def think you are right about scrogging the photos, i think for a full season outdoor grow i can train those lil chickadeez into some proper monsters and get the most out of the scrog net. Peace Big Homie, thanks for letting me rattle your ear off!

Oh i absolutely understand these are not regular results lol. This man has his whole system dialed perfectly coupled with an extreme amount of talent on top of an innate sense of reading this plant. All comes together to push the genetic limits! I bet the plants didnt know they could get that big lol. I definitely have plans to adopt this way of growing In the near future but have nutrients and soil and stuff that i have to go thru before i replace the whole System. But yes, rockwool will def be in my near future, and i am paying attention to @420autoflower, the man is a wealth of information and when he talks i listen. Its crazy seeing you around here. When i started growing over 20yrs ago, Dutch Passion, Passion #1 was the first strain i ever grew. Went in on a 10pack with a buddy and found one of the best mothers ive ever had, that was some of the sweetest smelling weed strains ive ever had tasted or grown to this day. You bet i was excited to see DP still in business and still at the forefront! Cant wait to see what youve been working on! Take care❤️🙏🌱
:yeahthat: Definitely probs to the man of this thread @420autoflower for showcasing his and our work with the world! :clapper:
Really cool to hear about your first experience with DP 2 decades ago mate, Passion #1 remains a top seller and is a great strain to grow outdoors. I'm also very happy we can finally bring these genetics to the states ourselves!

If you ever want to give something a go again, just holla at me ok? :d5:
Thank You Brother. :toke:
Actually both Critical Orange Punch’s turned out massive and should be close in weight. SFV OG is also comparable in size but she foxtailed quite a bit over the last 10 days. The foxtailing really doesn’t bother me and I’m overall happy with how she finished up but she’s not very photogenic anymore. Lol! :nono:
I’ll post some preharvest pics tomorrow. :rolleyes1:
Auto Creepers are a couple weeks behind the others and doing well. They don’t come close to the other 3 in size but really happy with the colas/buds they are putting out.
I’ll let everyone have a peak at those tomorrow too.
:aha:1,42 kg? Just trying to do an educated guess haha
Thanks @KingRatt! :d5:
Really appreciate the compliments Brother but you give me way too much credit. Lol
I’m just a hobbyist home grower that gets bored easy and enjoys experimenting with different growing methods/techniques. By being a versatile grower over the years and not afraid to try new things I’ve basically gotten to know the plant very well and how it will react to the techniques I’ve incorporated into the 420autoflower scrog method.
Happy to know you are willing to give it a try bro and here to help when you’re ready.
Staying humble really suits you mate! :joy:

Nice, good to hear that! Hope you will like them once they are dry.

How are the terps on that big Auto Critical Orange Punch?

Yeah Bro… BT has to be sprayed before you have a problem or it’s too late when you actually see the critters on your plants. I did my best with precautionary applications once a week when my outdoor autos first started to go into flower but still had a problem with caterpillars. Maybe I didn’t mix up the concentrated solution strong enough. I also had a big problem with aphids last couple seasons but they don’t seem to devastate plants like caterpillars do and I just tipped my scrog carts on their sides and sprayed the plants down with a hose when it got really bad. One good thing about growing outdoors. lol :rolleyes1:

If you’re just getting into autos and want bigger plants hydro is the way to go. The constant fertigation will give you that vigorous growth you want and will also extend your veg/preflower to give you more time to work the plant. All you need to get started is a grow bag filled with coco/perlite, a decent N-P-K, a good PH and EC pen and some PH up and down. I’ve grown many big autos fertigating by hand with the basic water to run off method. You really don’t need any fancy equipment to run hydro but if you have an extra $30 to spare you could make a simple DIY system that fertigates automatically.
