Indoor Growing a pound and a half in a 4x2’ tent

Haha. I have an ongoing grow thread linked in my signature down there that you can flip through. My largest auto plant in that thread was 22oz. These days anything under 16 bums me out.

How? Dunno. I like to see how hard I can push them. But I know when to back off. Good lighting and environment. Plants are plants. Lots of experience growing other plants before I had even thought about growing canna.

IMHO, no magic bullets. But no secret either. Let the plants tell you what they want, need or can take - observation. Go from there. Over time you develop a method that works for you and remains "consistent" even with Autos. Once you find consistency, you can tweak and see where you can improve, or not.

Anyhoo, not trying hijack the thread. My original post was to offer encouragement. Just wanted to answer your question. Good luck.
No worries bro!
Feel free to post whatever you wish here. Always appreciate good input and advise.

Il be keeping my glazed eyes on this thread fir sure,,
Inspired now to do 10 next Grow and try copy your method but a light mix version
I think you could fit a couple more plants in your space without a problem brother. You’ve been doing a great job keeping your foliage down so you definitely have space for more.

My problem is tho that too many pots keeps my Rh up in the 60s in late flower and it messes with my temp/humidity controller.
Would need a load of extra heat to pull it off cos the controller takes the heat trying to sort the high RH problem. Lol
But Tonight I turned the negative pressure dail to 100% and I noticed it balance everything out alot better and it seems I might not need as much heat as previously thought. So will see how that goes I Normally have it at -50%
Keep up the top work mate cos u killing it for sure

Thanks brother!
I’m always dealing with high humidity issues as well. Good for your vegging plants in your perpetual setup but risky having it high during flowering. Is there any way you can run a dehumidifier inside or outside of your grow area?

Day 26
Tent is slowly filling in.
Need the plants to start showing me pistils and flowering soon or I might have to thin the herd down the road. :nono:

Started to do selective defoliation and still continuing to leaf tuck to expose as many top nodes as I can. Whatever I can’t tuck I pluck. My goal is to get 80-100 cola sites to the top of the canopy and keep them exposed. Feeding now 3 times a day and raised the ec to 1.4. Turned up the Maxisuns to 70% power and hitting the plants with 700 PPFD from wall to wall across the canopy. Still working the tops down but had to cut longer coat hanger stakes so they hold well in the coco. And finally just started up the exhaust system and have it set on low power to keep up the R/H as much as possible.

Day 29
The tent is full!
Packed away the humidifiers I had running in the room for now since there is enough foliage to keep the RH up. Removed the training hooks that were holding the tops down for 14 days and now I have a nice canopy of about 90-100 main cola sites. Started going hard on defoliating the tops and pulling off handfuls of leaves daily to keep the cola sites clear and well exposed. Planning on stripping all the large fan leaves in the next couple days to give the plants better airflow and a little distance from each other. Noticed some tip burn on a couple of them so I backed down the nutrient strength to 1.3 ec. Thinking of putting them on automated fertigation soon so I topped the Grodan blocks off with 4x4” Flora Flex caps but was a little late and had to cut them in half to make them work. Lol!
