Indoor Growing a pound and a half in a 4x2’ tent

Here is another grow I’m introducing into this thread that was started at the same time as the other 10 in the SOG. I wasn’t planning on showing this crop here but thought some of you might be interested in a good comparison so here it is.
I have a few different top shelf cultivars in this crop… 3 Trichomes & Cream, a couple Hubbas and Skylar Whites from Mephisto and a Cherry Cola from Fast Buds. All 8 plants are growing in 3 gallon plastic grow bags instead of 2 gallon like the others and were started in 4x4” Grodan blocks that are a inch taller than the blocks I’m using in the SOG. They’re being fed the same nutrients but going to be switching these over to organic fertilizers early in their flowering stage to see if there’s any difference. Around 12-14 days into flower I’ll cut all synthetic nutes from their diet and top dress each container with 1/3 cup of Down to Earth 4-8-4 and possibly some DTE Dolomite Lime dry amendments while having the plants in the SOG continue with General Hydroponics Flora Bloom and GH Koolbloom as their PK booster.
The style and method of growing will be a little different as well… this grow will be more like a SOG/SCROG type grow where the plants are held down and trained with a 3” scrog net for most of their flowering stage to increase the nodes up top and overall yield. Hoping there will be enough room in this 4x2’ tent later in the grow but just in case I do have a slightly larger tent waiting on standby.

Excellent work mate. Nicely explained,
I'm going for the 10 the next run. Your methods are a big inspiration.

Absolutely top notch @420autoflower - it is a pleasure to see your work :frog:
Glad you like the content brother Z!
After seeing your beautiful Trichome & Creme I wanted to grow a few myself.
Got lucky and ordered the T&C beans right before they sold out, wanted some Mimosas too but they were already out of stock.
Looks great man. I mean I feel claustrophobic but it looks great, lol I barely have the balls to run 8 in a 4x8 and you're jammin it out in 1/4 the size.

So you defol'ed for 2 hours, how often will you need to do that do you think with such a tight space?
Thanks @NoFrillsNoBills!
It’s all in the pruning bro.
For me to be able to make this all work and end up with minimal to no larf I need to give them at least 1 heavy defoliation, 2 complete leaf strips (schwazzing) and daily defos in between.
The first heavy defoliation is fast and average about 4 minutes per plant but as the plant starts maturing and goes into flower it gets harder and more time consuming. The last scwhazz around the end of week 4 is always the most difficult as the buds/colas are frosty at this stage and hard to avoid brushing up against them.

Awesome 420. The stalk development on the 8 under the scrog at 35 days is crazy.
Definitely going to be an interesting comparison between the two tents.
Thanks Rick!
Should be interesting buddy.
Sorry it took me so long to post the grow.

Thanks again for the Mephisto beans.

Thank you Mr. Norb Yippls.
Can’t keep up with all your name changes brother. Lol!
I might be wrong but I think you are AKA TREAB as well... those stickers on your grow room wall look awfully familiar.
