Indoor Growing a pound and a half in a 4x2’ tent

@420autoflower
I love what your doing here and enjoy all the info you share on your training and defol methods. Thanks for taking the time to post all the info and the wonderful helpful photos.
I have a question on your LST, aka that first bend. I see how you stake it at 15 days, and then you say you remove it around 2 weeks later. During that two weeks, do you continue to move the stake toward what would have been the top of the plant? In other words do you keep the whole remaining main stem flat and then let the whole thing turn up after those two weeks end? Or do you just keep that stake in basicply the same spot during those two weeks and let it start to turn up above that spot almost immediately?
Thanks in advance!
I love the results you get with this method, and I’m giving it a try.
cheers

Day 39
So far so good!
They’re all flowering now and going through their stretch period well. Planning on giving them their first schwazz in a few days to reduce stretch and allow more light down to the bottom of the canopy. Not doing any lollipopping so very important for me to keep the foliage down to maximize the potential of each plant. Still working the canopy twice a day plucking handfuls of leaves to clear the tops and allow more light to hit the nodes to promote better stacking and gear them up to produce large colas. After they finish their stretch I’ll set the canopy height the best I can based on the tallest plant and place them in their permanent positions for the rest of the grow.
Turned up the Maxisuns to 90% power and hitting the canopy with a very high PPFD now that they’re starting to flower. Definitely high at this stage of growth but trying to push them as far as I can.
Keeping the ec at 1.3 but cut the General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow and started them up on GH FloraNova Bloom. Also added General Hydroponics Koolbloom into their diet for their main PK booster but having to alternate the Botanicare Calmag and Koolbloom to keep my PPM in range. Still feeding them GH Floralicious for amino acid supplementation and I’ll start carbo loading them with Cutting Edge Sugaree in a couple weeks to help bulk them up.

The potential for 1 1/2 pound is surely there, but you'll have your work set out for ya, when you do start cleaning up that undergrowth. There's to much vegetative growth under there that won't amount to any worthy bud sites...Better to direct all that energy to those buds in the canopy ♥
And now my ADHD kicks in and I must say something about those bottles....So many reasons for them to be clean... :yay:

Thank you @Organic Sinse!
Glad you find the info in the thread helpful.
I do reposition the training stakes daily to keep the main tops horizontal… once the top starts bending up towards the light I move the stake and pin it back down. This process redirects the energy down to the lower nodes from the main top and helps create more of a flatter canopy with multiple main cola sites. Very simple training technique and only 1 bent coat hanger stake per plant is needed.

Thanks Bob!
The crop looks like it’s actually gearing up to produce close to 2 pounds if everything goes the way it should.
I did clean up some of the lower growth on the three tallest plants but I’m hopping with proper defoliation my bottom growth will develop like it usually does. I really concentrate on no larf grows and do my best to avoid growing any unwanted fluff bud. I worked hard pruning the 3 Beaver Bananalopes I just harvested a few months ago and they ended up producing 3.83 pounds (1718 grams) and that was with absolutely zero larf.

Thank you so very much for clearing that up. I thought that was probably how it would work. I’m very excited to try this, I think it will work quite nicely with my set up. I just started my first bend using your style.
Every thread I find you in is just loaded with info and great photos. Thanks again for taking the extra time to share all that info. Great stuff coupled with great presentation.

Cut all synthetic nutes about a week ago and top dressed them with 1/3 cup of Down to Earth 4-8-4. Also gave the heavy feeding Hubba in the back right corner 1/3 cup of DTE 4-4-4 with the 4-8-4.
