Hey all.

As you can see, I kinda messed up at first, but I think it's going okay now, despite the damage to the lower leaves.

This is day 23. As you can probably see, it's a bit small, but ever since I fixed the temperature problems (it's now between 26-29°C, depending on the time of day (higher in the late evening etc.) and it's on 20 hours on/4 hours off on a blue CFL. I gave her her first feed on her last watering (I'm fairly sure it's a her since I can see wee green hairs at the nodes), using an organic tea, and she *seems* to have liked it, but I think that might have just been since growth has been quite fast around now.

I think somethings wrong. Over the last day, I've been getting this pale-green-ness creeping over the leaves.

Also, those lower branches are just the damage from the heat issues I was having when I started, they're nothing new.

The soil isn't usually that moist, it's just been 13 hours since I watered (and I think the changes have been since then). The water was mineral water which pH-ed at 8.6, so I put in a few drops of lemon juice to put it to 6.8, and the runoff tested at 5.8, which is a bit on the acidic side I realise. Do you think it might be that? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, and thanks in advance for having patience in me ^^;

yep ... ph should be 6.3 - 6.5 in soil mediums



so thats part of it at least... get that straight and see what happens..

I've got some buffer fluid ordered, but it's late in arriving, since I've got a sneaking suspicion that my pH metre might be a bit off, I won't know for sure until it arrives. It should be here before my next watering in any case, I'll just keep an eye on her for now.

Also, I've just noticed, I think she's starting to smell a bit. Was wondering when I'd experience the infamous cannabis smell. Just a slight rainforesty smell but it's definitely one that wasn't there before ^^;.

Hey wisdomkarp its all a learning process. No questions are dumb questions. Just stick around and you will get good wisdom from the people in this community. Definitely want to get that Ph fixed. You would be surprised how much of a difference it makes. One love and good luck with the rest of your grow.

Another question, would there be some way to fix the pH problem before the next watering? Just since I don't expect to water again for another 2-3 days and I swear between now and when I first posted, the leaves have gotten ever so slightly curlier, though the new growth at the top has still been getting along fine.

Also, this makes me want to fix the pH sooner, but I'm afraid I might cause some damage if I water it again. Considering I just watered yesterday, do you think I could get away with it if I pH-ed the water right?
