Being new I would find it helpful to have a clear link at the top to the rules that is specific to each battle, start a new thread at the start of the battle so all the chatter before the start is in the sign up anouncment thread and do more of them [emoji23]

The grow battle threads get a little overloaded with chatter at times . Hard to see all the entries. Maybe a seperate thread for the official updates linked to the grow thread . Where you can post only updates . Would make it easier to keep track of entrants and entry updates.

In other way i absolutely love battles!!! Im very competative person and this is only way to improve my growing skills Thanks to AFN and to all growers for opportunity!

We should stagger the contests instead of 2 legs do 4 with half the comps for ex..

Instead of 10 comps in Jan and 10 in may do
5 in January, 5 in April, 5 in July 5. In Oct

That way we have time to plan space within our grows

Other that that I love the comps

Is there anything we could improve upon?less battles i think, do ANYTHING to encourage individual journals

Is there anything we should look into changing? The changes are excessive already, especially if your a medical user with a complicated life, we need safety, comfort, companionship not excessive change

Are the rules clear and concise?this week yes, next week who knows, i really cant keep up

something else that would be nice. run a thread where you put the suggestions you use and who put them up. Ive seen dozens of suggestion threads, but i don't know if you folks have followed even one suggestion, so why should i give you feedback at all? let us know you listen and make changes, otherwise why should we waste our time?

I have a list of all changes being implemented that will be updated here soon. As to the other improvement threads, the idea is to collect feedback from members to see what is feasible, what is necessary, and to get a sense of the community on where they are at. Feedback isn't necessary, but this is the communities best shot of getting that voice heard (and no one is getting offended by the replies, we created these threads to get this kind of feedback!)

I really liked the 1 on 1 grow battles where one gets called out...
I know it lost a lot of interested but it definitely got me researching stuff... equipment / nutrient lines / techniques...
To try help me be that little bit better...

These communal grow battles are great as it brings some of the lesser known guys forward and engaging the community, which at the end of the day what it's all about...

No idea on how to make better and the like as there is only so much keyboard and mouse can take us...
