As to the other improvement threads, the idea is to collect feedback from members to see what is feasible, what is necessary, and to get a sense of the community on where they are at. Feedback isn't necessary, but this is the communities best shot of getting that voice heard (and no one is getting offended by the replies, we created these threads to get this kind of feedback!)

I do not think any offence was meant with that statement .

He is actually telling you they prefer to keep the community input . Rather than go about it in a corporate way. By disregarding the users opinions.
