another update, fed the girls again today, same as usual some tiger bloom and molasses, they have one more feeding on the 8th then its home stretch ill start the flushing for 14 or so days...heres some pics you cant really see in the pic but about 15% of the pistols are already turning brown
Not to step in a say nay but I'm gonna lol, I would say you've got a fair bit more than 2 weeks to go bro. Pistils will naturally start to brown even at this stage, what your looking for are no new white ones.
During the flowering stage the buds go through 3 visible changes, firstly they start with the flower formation where teeny little nugs and white hairs will start springing up all over the place, then the nugs start to grow and fill in all the gaps on the branches, or as much as they can anyways. After that you'll see them swelling until they're rock hard fat chunk buds. I'm half way through backtracking your tread and writing this so I may be wrong but by the looks of that last picture I'd say they are finishing stage 1 and moving onto #2, growth.
As I say, I'm going over your thread but that'd be my bro.
TY thats what im saying you have a while yet..look around and see what an almost finished one looks like ..yours looks like its just still growing ..and no where near done..epsom is mag and you should get some homie.1tsp per gallon. To me looks like you got about a month or so more maybe 3 weeks ..the yelloing in the bottom could be from low mag making you think its ready to finish.Cool:
okay guys again thanks for the input lol i guess im just a little pre mature about the whole thing i will def pick some epsom up....i guess i am just thinking this will be the best they get because of the lack of light that im using...right now its just 8 100 watter cfl's and between the two ladies im assuming isnt nearly enough....ive been trying to save some cash for some led's but man life just keeps throwing me curves....ill have to watch for the extra swelling tho rival, i guess whats the harm in waiting another month....again thanks guys for the advise
Don't worry about the lights too much now dude unless you can really give it some juice. A few weeks ago I had 5 plants under 215W CFL and of two which have made it to harvest already, and an early harvest as well, pulled over an oz per plant, still got three going under it now and 4 new babies in small pots, don't underestimate the power of cfl lol.
Here's a link to the 125W I'm using in there, nice and cheap and does a damn fine job.
alright here we are again with another pic update...today, i left out the molasses, but i did add the 1 tsp of epsom salt to a gallon of water, i didnt use the whole gallon for the girls but it was about 2 liters each plus 2 tbls of GrowBig....i was out for a night and the tops of my ladies leaves died!! im thinking it was negligence and it got waaaay too hot for them but im not sure, you can see in the pics....other than that im crossing my fingers that the salt will balance out what i did wrong, should i keep adding it or is this one time enough? i dont have a bottle for spraying the bottoms of the leaves, i think i read that somewhere....so about harvest, when you say 3 weeks or so (last week) should i go for another feeding on the 11th, and then flushing for 14 days after that, or would i be good to go to just start flushing now? anyways heres some pics....
