New Grower green as grower

I have a dilemma I work away from home for two weeks at a time. would it be wise to make up some buckets of nutes for when they are in need so my mother inlaw can feed em while I am gone.
I have given her a crash course in what ph we are aiming for.
Around the 6.2 to 6.4 range has anyone had issues with storing nuted water for periods of time

I regularly mix up nutrients for a week or more at a time. The thing you want to do if you go over a few days is get yourself an air pump and AirStone inside those buckets to keep the air circulate also keep the light out. Everything should be fine as long as it doesn't get too warm.

Lol I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you could just teach her what's what... For example I know if I use my tap water and put in 1/4tsb of bloom 1/4tsb of magpro and 1/2tsb of protekt it bounces out my pH and it's good to go simple as that. I know some nutes say do not store others say it's fine to store for a day or two but no clue how it'll affect the pH or anything like that. If I leave water sitting out for days my pH goes up a noticable bit. Idk with nutes though I've always used em as I've made em.

lol I'm hearing ya led guy. easier said than done I'm good with balancing ph due to what I do for a job extract copper from ore extremely ph driven but trying to teach it to someone who isn't sure is tricky.
thank you for the advice jingo I do believe I will need to do what you have recommended here. or just call ever second day and run her through it step by step.

In DWC nutrients are used for a week without issue as part and parcel. I have made up nutes several weeks ahead without issue as well. Like already stated use an air pump/stone to keep it aerated and mixed. The PH will climb due to calcium carbonate being precipitated out by the aeration. This is not a bad thing as it will eventually stabilize and then when you adjust the PH it will remain in range longer. So just have your plant sitter adjust the PH a couple of hours before feeding. One thing to remember is that the PH will respond more rapidly and strongly to water that has had the calcium carbonate scrubbed out.

My misses would be perfectly capable of learning how to take care of my plants, but she would likely sabotage things because she would be unhappy that I was making her do it. Just the Funny kind of relationship we have.
