@Mañ'O'Green Hey man, if you don't mind and have the time, what's the quickest way to reasonably check the plant's ready for harvest?
Not looking for 100% accuracy, just a decent way to tell it's ready and we can move to the next phase.

You are getting close, You need to look at the trichomes with a jeweler's loupe. You want to look at the trichomes that are on the bud not the sugar leaves. When the trichome are nearly all cloudy the harvest window opens:

Some clear mostly all cloudy = a cerebral, racy high.

All cloudy with 20% amber = a balance mind/body high

All Cloudy with 40% amber = sleepy time/couch lock buzz

All Cloudy with 50% plus amber = over ripe. Yet some different cannabinoids that may be desirable will become more dominant.

I use one like this.

In any event it won't hurt to wait another week!

Happy harvest day here.
The loupe arrived on Friday, Roxxy's trichomes said "Take us, we're ready" and today we did the honours.

It was a pleasure growing her.
