From personal experience only: you can go ahead and top dress your first round of bloom nutes. I personally do it around week 4&6&8ish. Sometimes i start week 3 (im in round 3 recycled soil) but if youre using a 1 or 2 part bloom set, id start jow. Remember with most dry mixes, very little feeds immediately. I only do a small amount every 2 weeks as its mostly not available for 1 to 3 weeks... At least thats my understanding. And there are exceptions. But these are the general guidelines i use when i feed. (And i give elemental weekly)

Do you top dress the elemental or mix with water? I love the stuff but dont use it but once a month. Not many here use elemental that I know of.

I topdress 1 tsp a week ish then water it in. I am a lil lazy so sometimes itll go 2 weeks but mostly weekly.

Thanks HG, I was going to top dress her last time I watered so it would kick in in a week or two, but decided not to, because of the nitrogen burn they experienced and not knowing if it was over or not. I gave 'em all a good watering a few days ago and they look awesome. So, the new plan is not to do anything to all but one. The Nature's Living Soil Concentrate I am using is suppose to be a start to finish product. Not to say you can't top dress. Since this is my 1st grow, 1st time using this product, never seen it used before, I am going to only top dress SSOGK [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] during it's 1st week of flowering since it is the runt of the class and see how it fairs compared to the rest.

I had a hard time getting it to dissolve topdressed, so I just stirred in water and poured it on top.

I scratch in and mix the top 2 to 3 inches of soil (or until im scratching roots) so it gets mixed and itll dissolve and break down over time and as i water over the next week. I refuse to stress over something that i use to relax. [emoji23][emoji23]

You convinced me @Hypathetical Gardener. We'll experiment on [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]. We'll harvest [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] with all cloudy trichomes, [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] with 50/50 split btwn cloudy and amber trichs, and [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] with mostly amber trichs.

IMPO all cloudy with ~20% amber is just right. 50% amber will be sleepy time and any more than that is ruined.
