Another week in the books for the Sensible Seeds OG Kush Autos. End of week 3, day 21. No real issues except for a little nitrogen leaf tip burning. Not much I can do about it since I'm using organically amended grow medium. Hope it will fade away. New growth has less and less browning I believe, Anyway, other than that all I have been doing is watering and adjust the light. Temps have been cooler at night lately giving me lows of 75 F. I have a heater ready in case they drop even further with some mid 40 lows in the forecast.

FastBuds WCOG, 10 inches, Day 32 is doing well. I believe she started to flower within the last couple days. She has hairs coming out of her internodes. I'll update again in a few days at day 35 when I top dress and water. Should I top dress having had a nitrogen issue? Leave her alone and see how she fairs the rest of the way to harvest?

Did the day time just start? They look a little on the lime green side. If the pictures are true to color then I think you can up the nutrients by 10% and then see if they green up a bit in a couple of days.

Hey Man, thanks for the feed back, the girls had just woke up. The lime green is because of the CFL having to be close and shining off the tops of the leaves. The darker green is more the true color of the whole plant. Yeah I think I'm going to top dress and water in a couple days and give her a boost during flower. I'll try and get some better photos for day 35 update.

End week 5, day 35 update. The Fast Buds West Coast OG Auto has been flowering for about 4 days. She is standing at about 12 inches and looks like a Christmas tree getting her first layer of lights. I am hoping she doubles in size. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Day 24 for the Sensible Seeds OG Kush Automatics. They are looking great. Never having grown before, it's amazing every time I check on them. I find myself watching 'em grow.

SSOGK#2 This one is pacing itself. She has gone from 2nd to 3rd in height. This one had the leaf mutation ??? Still doing great though.

SSOGK#3 From rough start and 24 hrs behind she is going to be a beast.

P.S. The light is about 40 inches or so from the top of the tallest plant because the leaf surface temperature of the cola is about 83 to 84 F. I am under the impression you don't want it to get above 85 F. Fact or Myth?

From personal experience only: you can go ahead and top dress your first round of bloom nutes. I personally do it around week 4&6&8ish. Sometimes i start week 3 (im in round 3 recycled soil) but if youre using a 1 or 2 part bloom set, id start jow. Remember with most dry mixes, very little feeds immediately. I only do a small amount every 2 weeks as its mostly not available for 1 to 3 weeks... At least thats my understanding. And there are exceptions. But these are the general guidelines i use when i feed. (And i give elemental weekly)
