Thanks man, I've seen that picture before. Do you have some experience you can share with me about my question on leaf surface temperature and the distance of my light to the canopy? Seems nobody seen that question at the bottom of my post. I appreciate all comments though and hope to apply everything I learn from you all. :peace:

Myself having a few attempts to grow in amended soil or Hot soil I've not had good luck with that! You can't really adjust it or fix it so I only use good empty soil and use MegaCrop for nutes and it's not perfect but I can adjust things this way✌️ plants get stunted and don't really thrive to full potential this is what my results was with hot soils and amendment. As for the Heat you ask I've had my girls in 85f and had no real negative effect but this grow my skunks they don't like the heat so I fixed it for them but honestly most I've grown takes heat pretty well just keep air moving but in my opinion I wouldn't worry on that. Having said all that I'm still a noob lol

Most of the HID grows I saw kept the light rather close. High temperatures are horrible if you dont have air movement. I put a suspect auto outside and It thrived in 100 degree weather. That's extreme, but 85 in a tent doesn't bother me a bit.

I try to keep the ambient temperature out of the 90°Fs but I have had it get as warm as 98°F for short periods in the summer. I usually grow sativa strains in the summer. They handle high heat and humidity better than indicas and/or ruderalis.
